Today, I would like to share my thoughts on reservation. Reservation was introduced to help communities that faced historical discrimination and unequal access to education and opportunities. It has helped many people improve their lives. At the same time, many people believe that admissions and jobs should increasingly be based on merit while ensuring that those who are disadvantaged continue to receive meaningful support. They argue that every student should have a fair chance to compete and succeed. This is a topic on which people hold different opinions. Whatever our view, it is important to discuss it respectfully, listen to one another, and work toward a society that is both fair and inclusive. Thank you.
