Ministry of AYUSH organizes the International Day of Yoga, the purpose of this event is to highlight the fact that Yoga can contribute in a holistic way to achieving equilibrium between mind and body. This approach to health and wellbeing can make a direct and useful contribution to humankind's quest to achieve sustainable development and move towards lifestyles that are in harmony with nature.

In view of the forthcoming International Day of Yoga-2018 and to generate awareness about the benefits of yoga for the comprehensive well-being of Indian women in the "40 plus" age group, Ministry of AYUSH invites you to share your ideas through the MyGov platform.

Reaching out to the girl students of schools and colleges will help in connecting with the mothers of above 40 age. Campaigns in schools and colleges will do the best. Organizing one day yoga camp in the working instututes of women will be helpful for them. Programmes inviting for the creation of guiness record of highest number of women performing yoga or other targets will grab attentions of the homemakers and working women.Ad's in television and radio will be beneficial.

(i) Women in 40+ age group see daily soaps. So, short 10-15 second Ads will help.
(ii) Hoardings near places where women visit the most, i.e. vegetable markets, grocery stores, kinara stores, malls, beauty parlours will help.
(iii) Ads in regional language newspapers will help.

If women in 40+ age group start doing yoga, then surely their husbands, children and other family members will also start the same. Great initiative!

Ok, let's first clear it that what yoga actually is. Yoga is a link the soul,body and mind.So yoga is a very important part of a person's life after a particular age. After the age of 40,a person attains almost half of the experience of life. So,the person becomes desperate,stressed and mentally weak.So, yoga is something that gives peace to their mind.So,this is something not only important for women but to the whole nation.
If it's only for women then it should be implemented in whole country

एक औरत अपने परिवार और समूह कि सीख होती है| जीवन भर अपनी स्वास्थय के बारे में बिलकुल न सोचकर वह दूसरों कि चिंता करती है, लेकिन स्त्री जब अपने स्वास्थय के बारे में सोचने लगेगी तब हि वह अपने आने वाली पीढ़ी को भी सीख दे सकती है| योगा को अपने जीवन में एक मुख्य स्थान दे और मानसिक और शारीरिक रूप से स्वस्थ रहे, तभी एक स्वस्थ समूह होगा| अपने बच्चों के लिए स्त्री कुछ भी करती है, बस योगा भी करे ताकी एक स्वस्थ परिवार और समूह ला सके |

योग का मतलब होता है जोड़ना यानि की जो शरीर को ईश्वर से जोड़ने का काम करता है उसे योग यानि योगा कहते है। इस संसार में प्रत्येक व्यक्ति के पास धन नही होता जिससे वे अपनी बीमारी का इलाज सुचारू रूप से नही करा सकते मगर योगा एक ऐसा साधन है जो प्रत्येक व्यक्ति आसानी से कर के अपने शरीर को स्वस्थ रख सकता है। योगा से शरीर स्वस्थ और सुन्दर तथा हमेशा के लिए नीरोगी रहता है। इसीलिए हमें प्रतिदिन नियमित रूप से योग व्यायाम करना चाहिए। योगा से हमे कई फायदे होते है।
