भारतीय चार्टर्ड अकाउंटेंट्स संस्थान (आईसीएआई), MyGov के सहयोग से, देशभर के नागरिकों को "कोई विचार है? आईसीएआई के साथ साझा करें" पहल के अंतर्गत अपने रचनात्मक सुझाव एवं नवाचारपूर्ण विचार साझा करने के लिए आमंत्रित करता है।
यह पहल नागरिकों, पेशेवरों, विद्यार्थियों, उद्यमियों तथा अन्य हितधारकों को भारतीय चार्टर्ड अकाउंटेंट्स संस्थान (आईसीएआई), चार्टर्ड अकाउंटेंसी पेशे तथा भारत की वित्तीय एवं आर्थिक व्यवस्था को और अधिक सुदृढ़ बनाने हेतु अपने मूल्यवान विचार एवं सुझाव प्रस्तुत करने का अवसर प्रदान करती है।
प्रतिभागियों को चार्टर्ड अकाउंटेंसी पेशे को सशक्त बनाने, आर्थिक विकास को बढ़ावा देने, पारदर्शिता एवं सुशासन को प्रोत्साहित करने, प्रौद्योगिकी एवं नवाचार के प्रभावी उपयोग, वित्तीय साक्षरता को बढ़ाने, उद्यमिता को प्रोत्साहित करने तथा विकसित भारत @2047 के लक्ष्य को साकार करने जैसे विषयों पर अपने सुझाव साझा करने के लिए प्रोत्साहित किया जाता है।
इस पहल का उद्देश्य सार्थक जनभागीदारी को बढ़ावा देना तथा विविध दृष्टिकोणों एवं नवाचारपूर्ण विचारों का लाभ उठाकर चार्टर्ड अकाउंटेंसी पेशे को अधिक सशक्त, पारदर्शी, नवोन्मेषी एवं भविष्य के लिए तैयार बनाना है, साथ ही देश के लिए समावेशी, सुदृढ़ एवं टिकाऊ वित्तीय पारिस्थितिकी तंत्र के निर्माण में योगदान देना है।

Idea: Permanent Planning and Quality Accountability for Government Assets
Over the last 5 years, I have observed that many government buildings, roads, drains, public facilities and other assets are repeatedly constructed, repaired, demolished and reconstructed. While maintenance and redevelopment are sometimes necessary, repeated reconstruction of recently developed public assets can result in unnecessary expenditure and may create opportunities for corruption, poor-quality work and misuse of public funds.
Instead of treating every reconstruction as a new project, the government should establish a “Lifetime Public Asset Planning and Accountability System.”
Under this system, every major government asset should have a fixed design life, quality standard and maintenance plan before construction begins. The expected lifespan of the asset should be recorded in a central digital system along with the approved design, estimated cost, materials and technical *my idea attached in PDF file*

Problem: India already has multiple grievance portals, but a complaint can be marked resolved based mainly on a departmental reply.A written Action Taken Report (ATR) does not necessarily prove that the problem has actually been solved on the ground
Solution: Create an independent “Ground Verification Layer” common to all major government grievance systems. When a department closes a complaint, selected cases—especially serious, repeated or disputed complaints—should be randomly assigned to independent field auditors. The auditor should verify the actual situation through objective evidence such as photographs, location/time verification, documents and interaction with affected citizens.
The auditor’s identity should remain confidential, and the auditor must have no authority to approve, reject or influence departmental action, preventing personal benefit or pressure. The verification result should be recorded separately from the department’s ATR.

For every study material, ICAI should clearly mention the applicable examination attempt and provide an expected release date before the material is made available. This would help students plan their preparation properly and reduce confusion caused by incomplete or delayed study material availability.”

Can we not make ESG a specialisation only for CA. Have a mental health counsellor at ICAI branches or maybe a guide for students. Work on other emerging specialisations too.

Respected Sir/Madam,
I would like to submit a citizen-centric idea under MyGov’s “Have an Idea? Share it with ICAI” initiative.
India is rapidly moving towards a digital and financially empowered economy, but many rural citizens, small traders, youth and new entrepreneurs still face difficulties understanding GST, ITR, basic accounting, digital payments, financial planning and cyber-fraud prevention.
I propose that ICAI launch a nationwide “Financially Empowered India” awareness programme through schools, colleges, Panchayats and community centres. CA-led awareness camps, multilingual learning materials and digital tools could help citizens understand tax compliance, maintain basic accounts and make safer financial decisions.
Such an initiative can strengthen financial literacy, voluntary compliance, entrepreneurship and transparency, contributing to a more self-reliant and financially aware India.
