i have been following up for last 5 years to get same spelling for town and railway station at bangalore namely yesvantput and baiyyappanhalli. The city records and survey confirms the name as Yeswanthpur and Baiyappanhalli and the entiry town limits has this name except for the railways. i have been following up with railways and state govt. as per rules railways told that state govt has to confirm in writing then only they will do but state goverment not intrested in doing..they say we have corrected our records if need railways can do...though one nation the state govt not inrested in informing railways the correct spelling...pride of nation is in stake if visitors see different spelling in railways compound and the town limits...i request you to make a breakthrough so that citizen gets common spelling, i have attached all correspondenses along with the survey report from state govt. similarly i had requested to change bangalore cantonment to bangalore central,declined (attached)
