On 15th August every year, the Prime Minister speaks from the ramparts of the Red Fort and lays out the government's programmes and policies. Over the last few years, the Hon’ble Prime Minister has directly invited ideas and suggestions from citizens for the Independence Day Speech. Similarly, this year too the Prime Minister invites citizens to contribute their inputs for New India. So, now you have the opportunity to tell your ideas, give word to your suggestions and crystallize your vision. PM Narendra Modi may pick up some of the ideas in his speech on 15th August.

Honourable PM, a developed India (Viksit Bharat) requires a healthy workforce. I suggest introducing a national 'Swasthya Sankalp' (Health Pledge) in your speech, shifting the nation's focus from curing diseases to preventing them. By encouraging citizens to adopt daily yoga, millets (Shree Anna), and regular health check-ups at Ayushman Arogya Mandirs, we can reduce the burden on our hospitals. Preventive health should be framed as a patriotic duty for building a strong nation.

Hon’ble Prime Minister,
To transform India into a fully developed nation by 2047, government schemes alone are not enough; the active 'Jan-Bhagidari' (People’s Participation) of the youth and citizens is the most crucial pillar.
On this Independence Day, my suggestion is to launch a 'Civic Duty Movement' to inspire the youth of our country toward nation-building.
When the youth and every citizen move forward with the spirit of "My India, My Responsibility," the vision of a 'Developed India' will become a reality well ahead of time.

Honourable PM, to boost the 'Vocal for Local' initiative, I suggest a program that pairs university students with local artisans, weavers, and self-help groups. Our youth can use their digital skills to help traditional craftsmen build e-commerce storefronts, manage social media branding, and reach global markets. This creates a bridge between modern tech skills and traditional Indian heritage, turning local crafts into global brands while teaching youth the basics of entrepreneurship.

Honourable PM, your vision for Mission LiFE has inspired the world. To take it further, I suggest announcing an 'Urja Saksharta' (Energy Literacy) campaign led by India's youth. Just as we did for digital payments, college students can volunteer to help households and local businesses conduct simple 'energy audits' to reduce electricity waste and adopt rooftop solar. When the youth lead the charge on energy conservation, moving towards Net Zero will become a true mass movement.

Honourable PM, as India embraces artificial intelligence, we must ensure it serves our villages as much as our cities. I suggest announcing a national mission to develop AI tools specifically for regional Indian languages. If a farmer in Tamil Nadu or a weaver in Assam can speak to an AI assistant in their mother tongue to get real-time market prices, weather updates, or legal advice, we will truly democratize technology. Let us make India the global leader in 'Inclusive AI.

Respected Hon'ble Prime Minister,
India's greatest strength is its people. Every citizen has the ability to contribute ideas that can improve governance, public services, environmental protection, and national development. I humbly suggest strengthening a nationwide "Jan Bhagidari Innovation Movement", encouraging citizens, students, professionals, farmers, workers, and senior citizens to share practical solutions to local and national challenges. A simple digital platform for submitting, tracking, and recognizing constructive ideas would motivate greater public participation. Many important improvements begin as small citizen suggestions. Whether in railways, public safety, water conservation, digital governance, energy efficiency, or environmental protection, people's participation can complement the efforts of Government.
As we celebrate Independence Day, let us inspire every Indian to believe that nation building is not only the responsibility of the Government.
