Shaheed Bhagat Singh's Vision for Today's Youth - Building the India of Tomorrow

Bhagat Singh, popularly known as Shaheed-e-Azam, was one of the greatest revolutionaries and freedom fighters of India. His courage, sacrifice, and ideology at such a young age continue to inspire the youth of India even today. He was born on 28th September 1907 in the village of Banga in Lyallpur district of Punjab, which is now in Pakistan. He came from a patriotic family. His father Kishan Singh and uncles Ajit Singh and Swaran Singh were all actively involved in the freedom struggle against British rule. From childhood itself, Bhagat Singh was filled with patriotic feelings. His childhood incident changed his life. When he was just 12 years old, the Jallianwala Bagh massacre took place in Amritsar in 1919, where General Dyer ordered firing on innocent Indians. आज के युवाओं के लिए शहीद भगत सिंह का विजनशहीद-ए-आजम भगत सिंह जी सिर्फ 23 साल जिए, लेकिन उनका विजन 100 साल आगे का था।आज के युवाओं के लिए उनका विजन 3 बातें सिखाता है:1. शिक्षा ही असली हथियार है: वो जेल में भी किताबें पढ़ते थे। वो चाहते थे कि युवा भावुक नहीं, शिक्षित बने।2. देश के लिए सवाल पूछो: उन्होंने कहा था "बम और पिस्तौल इंकलाब नहीं लाते, इंकलाब की तलवार विचारों की सान पर तेज होती है।"3. नया भारत: वो सिर्फ अंग्रेजों से आजादी नहीं, गरीबी और अन्याय से भी आजादी चाहते थे।आज जब भारत Space, Health और Technology में आगे बढ़ रहा है, तब हमें उसी क्रांतिकारी सोच की जरूरत है।इंदौर के एक युवा के तौर पर मेरा मानना है कि कल के भारत का निर्माण तभी होगा जब हम खूब पढ़ेंगे, वैज्ञानिक सोच रखेंगे और निस्वार्थ देश सेवा करेंगे। यही भगत सिंह जी को सच्ची श्रद्धांजलि होगी।इंकलाब जिंदाबाद! - जयराम मिश्रा

From prison walls to gallows grim, Freedom’s song was sung through him. Not death, but destiny he chose, A martyr’s path, where courage grows. O youth of India, hear his call, Rise for justice, one and all. For Bhagat’s dream still lights the way, A flame that never shall decay.

Shaheed Bhagat Singh believed that ideas are more powerful than weapons. Today, India’s youth can use knowledge, technology, creativity, and innovation to solve social and economic challenges and build a better future. By following values like patriotism, courage, critical thinking, social responsibility, and active citizenship, young Indians can stand against injustice, spread awareness, protect the environment, and contribute to their communities. True patriotism means not only loving the nation but also working to improve it. If the youth think boldly, act responsibly, and turn their ideas into action, they can play a major role in making India a stronger, progressive, and developed nation.
