Water is one of the main source of living for human beings and with urbanization the pollution level in water is increasing at a fast pace. A Chennai-based Ariake company has introduced Japanese Stones known as Zeolites or Eco-Bio-Block to help Tirupur dyers in recycling effluents in water. These blocks have an effective working life of eight years in running water and have been successfully tested in various countries SO WE CAN USE JAPANESE STONE ZEOLITES

1.Create awarenessby celebrating "Ganga Mahotsav" 2.Make HUGE TANKS near GANGA so that people can conduct rituals there, which can be cleaned easily 3.Enforce strict laws to polluting bodies like industries and fine them heavily. 4.Appoint motivated youth to continue the drive and follow up is equally important. 5.Hold authorities accountable 6.Construct cooling ponds, tanks and cogeneration 7.Reduce hydraulics overloading, use green infrastructure approach 8.Employ river engineering

Create a group of volunteers and name it such as this: “Friends of Ganga”. Start “National Ganga Day” – This day everyone can come to River Ganga near their respective places and start cleaning the River. Start events like “Stop Throwing, Start Picking Litter from Ganga.”

More water will be needed to produce more food for 3 billion more people. But increasing competition for water and inefficient irrigation practices could constrain future food production.

In England where rain is abundant year round, water used for agriculture accounts for less than 1% of human usage. Yet even on the same continent, water used for irrigation in Spain, Portugal and Greece exceeds 70% of total usage. Irrigation has been a key component of the green revolution that has enabled many developing countries to produce enough food to feed everyone.
