Digital content uploaded by citizens on social media websites, government websites, etc. include text, photos, documents, etc. Such content requires filtering before it can be stored in databases or published online for public viewing. This filtering includes scanning for inappropriate content like potentially communal or politically sensitive statements, pornography, etc.

MyGov proposes to integrate such tools managing the content on the platform. Suggestions are invited regarding the best currently available software that can be used by MyGov for rule based online content filtering. The suggestions should include complete name of the software, details of the software, vendor and the relative merits of the tool vis-à-vis other such tools. The inputs can be provided in text, .doc or .pdf format.

Respected sir the content when its uploaded to web site then through secure line when its uploaded the ip adress of that net user is forward to a commitee which take a discussion that this content is really to share with some body ? If that data is illeagal then gov have to take a action to remove such content from social media sites . sir there is 1 suggestion from my side why not we create such team who see all over india work regarding problems and i would like to be member of that team .

OpenDNS is currently the highest rated software by parents when it comes to parental control over children access to internet pornographic or any such websites, moreover it is cross platform software. Net Nanny is another such software compatible over Windows, Mac, iPhone, android etc. K9 Web protection software is also there and there are many more like Save Squid and Dans Guardians. All these softwares are available online some free while others need to be bought.

We can use a voting system in which an additional link or button is provided to block or report abusive or inappropriate things uploaded by some.Based on majority algorithm for example no of blocks>=100 then the post will be removed and the person will be blocked further using government sites or strict actions will be taken against him.Options should be provided to report abuse such as content is immaterial,against a community or religion .contains nudity,or others.
