BIRAC launched an Innovation Challenge Award, SoCH i.e., Solutions for Community Health. Innovative ideas from individual entrepreneurs, academia and companies were sought under two themes aimed at developing viable solutions to address certain challenges in the Community Health Sector.

In order to create awareness among common mass on SWACHHTA, National Academy of Customs, Indirect Taxes and Narcotics, Zonal Campus, Kolkata had conducted an online Slogan Contest on SWACHHTA in association with MyGov.in Portal from 2nd to 17th November, 2018.

Department of Social Justice and Empowerment initiated the ‘Design a Logo for the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment’ contest and ‘Coin a Tagline for Department of Social Justice and Empowerment’ contest on the MyGov platform from 26 Oct-14 to 10 Nov-14. The contests recorded considerable participation.

The MyGov platform is a collaborative forum where citizens can “Be an active partner in nation-building; and Participate in Groups, Tasks, Discussions, Polls, Blogs and Talks.” MyGov initiated an online quiz competition MyGov Weekly Quiz#8 from 19th December 2018 to 24th December 2018 on this vibrant platform. The contest recorded considerable participation of 5,804 participants.

“कृषि कल्याण अभियान” के प्रथम चरण (1 जून से 15 अगस्त, 2018) की सफलता को देखते हुए कृषि एवं किसान कल्याण मंत्रालय द्वारा 2 अक्टूबर 2018 से 25 दिसम्बर 2018 तक देश भर के ग्रामीण इलाकों में इस अभियान का द्वितीय चरण चलाया जाना तय किया गया था, लेकिन 6 राज्यों छत्तीसगढ़, मध्यप्रदेश, मिजोरम, राजस्थान, तेलंगाना में विधानसभा चुनाव व पंजाब में पंचायत चुनाव के मद्देनजर इस अभियान को 26 जनवरी, 2019 तक बढ़ा दिया गया हैI

For its implementation, increasing employment in agricultural sector and enhancing the income of farmers are the important factors.
