On the occasion of 150th birth anniversary of Kasturba Gandhi & Mahatma Gandhi, Gandhi Smriti & Darshan Samiti in collaboration with MyGov conducted Paragraph writing contest on Kasturba – As I know. The contest received an overwhelming response, a total of 1958 entries were received for the competition from different parts of the country and top 10 entries were selected. Top 10 selected entries will be awarded with Rs. 5,100 each.

On the occasion of 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, Gandhi Smriti & Darshan Samiti in collaboration with MyGov conducted various citizen engagement activities on continuous basis. These contests received an overwhelming response, with huge entries of participation across the country. On the occasion of the 70th anniversary year of the adoption of the Indian Constitution by the Constituent Assembly, Department of Justice, Ministry of Law & Justice, Government of India in collaboration with MyGov.in conducted a “Constitution Quiz” from 26 Nov 2019 to 25 Dec 2019 with an aim to create awareness amongst the Indian citizens about the Constitution and its special features, particularly Fundamental Duties, as enshrined in the Constitution and make all the citizens aware of their duties and follow them.

‘Fit India Quiz’ is an initiative by the Fit India Movement to create awareness among people across the country regarding fitness, health, and nutrition. This activity aims to engage, excite and enable citizens to motivate them towards fitness and raise awareness about fitness through an interactive learning process.

‘Sahi Fasal’   campaign was launched by National Water Mission on 14.11.2019 to nudge farmers in the water stressed areas to grow crops which are not water intensive, but use water very efficiently; and are economically remunerative; are healthy and nutritious; suited to the agro-climatic-hydro characteristics of the area; and are environmentally friendly.

The digital footprint in Indian businesses is growing, especially, in the banking, hospitality and airlines sector. Despite several initiatives, ports and shipping companies in India have a long way to go to develop an infrastructure embracing modern technology, which would help them in improving performance to global standards.

Commissionerate of Textiles, Maharashtra State, Nagpur, organized User Interface Development Competition for TexApp – Phase- I, online through the “MyGov” portal in January-February 2020 in order to seek people’s involvement and participation for suggesting User Interface Development design for TexApp of the Commissionerate. A total of 180 entries were received for User Interface Development design for TexApp from people of varied age groups and from different parts of the country.

Ministry of Tourism has launched the Dekho Apna Desh initiative whereby citizens are encouraged to take a pledge to visit at least 15 places in India by 2022. This initiative helped us engage youth across different segments and increase overall awareness of Domestic tourism in India.

The Ministry of Finance, Government of India invited suggestions from citizens across the country through a discussion forum on MyGov. More than 19,000 suggestions were received through this discussion. And many good ideas shared by #CitizenMyGov got reflected in the Union Budget presented by Hon. Union Finance Minister of India Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman in the Parliament on 1st Feb 2020.

The Ministry of Science & Technology, the Ministry of Earth Sciences and the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare in association with Vijnana Bharati (VIBHA), have created a unique platform of India International Science Festivals which intends to inspire curiosity and make learning more rewarding. Launched in 2015, IISF is a celebration to promote Science and Technology and demonstrate how science could lead India towards a developed nation within a short span of time.
