An online Quiz on “Swachh Bharat Abhiyan” was conducted by National Academy of Customs, Indirect Taxes and Narcotics, Zonal Campus, Bhubaneswar in collaboration with MyGov from 22nd October to 31st October, 2018. The Quiz received an overwhelming response, and witnessed participation more than 15,000 participants. NACIN congratulates all the participants for their participation.

The MyGov platform is a collaborative forum where citizens can "Be an active partner in nation-building; and Participate in Groups, Tasks, Discussions, Polls, Blogs and Talks." The NMCM initiated a Logo design competition from July 25, 2018 to August 25, 2018 on this vibrant platform to engage a wider audience in designing a meaningful logo for Cultural Mapping of India project. The contest recorded considerable participation with nearly 311 submissions, of varying levels of creativity & innovation. We thank the participants for their creative submissions that lead us to hope for positive interest in our challenging nationwide efforts.

The Ministry of Home Affairs conducted a logo design competition for CyberDost, the brand name selected for use in all communications for spreading awareness on prevention of Cybercrimes. The contest hosted on MyGov, witnessed an overwhelming response from the citizens with total of 499 entries.

In an attempt to spread awareness about conservation of water, Ministry of Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation launched a contest : “Jal Bachao, Video Banao, Puraskar Pao” on 10th July 2018 running till 4th November, 2018. For the third and fourth fortnight of the Contest, entries were invited from 9th to 23rd August and 24th August to 7th September, 2018 on MyGov Portal.

Department of Biotechnology (M/o Sc. & Tech.), Government of India, the organizing partner for 4th India International Science Festival, 2018 to be held at Lucknow from 5th to 8th October, 2018, had conducted a contest for Slogan/Tagline for 4th IISF to catch the attention on the theme of the IISF.

The India Innovation Challenge Design Contest (IICDC) has grown from strength to strength every year since its inception in 2016. Organized by Texas Instruments in collaboration with Department of Science and Technology (DST) and anchored by NSRCEL, Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore (IIMB) and supported by MyGov, IICDC is an attempt at creating an immersive ecosystem to encourage innovation.

महात्मा गांधी का कथन है, ‘स्वच्छता, राजनीतिक स्वतंत्रता से अधिक महत्त्वपूर्ण है।’ यह कथन समाज में स्वच्छता के महत्व को रेखांकित करता है। उनके इसी कथन को को मूर्त रूप देने के लिए माननीय प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने 15 अगस्त, 2014 को लाल किले की प्राचीर से राष्ट्र को संबोधित करते हुए कहा था कि “हमें गंदगी और खुले में शौच के खिलाफ लड़ाई लड़नी है, हमें पुरानी आदतों को बदलना है और महात्मा गांधी की 150वीं जयंती के वर्ष 2019 तक स्वच्छ भारत का लक्ष्य प्राप्त करना है।” जिसके तहत 15 सितम्बर से 2 अक्टूबर (गांधी जयंती) तक देश भर में एक विशेष स्वच्छता अभियान का आगाज किया गया, जिसे पीएम मोदी ने ‘स्वच्छता ही सेवा’ (क्लीनीनेस इज़ सर्विस) नाम दिया है।
