The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), in collaboration with MyGov, invites citizens across India to share their constructive suggestions and innovative ideas through the initiative "Have an Idea? Share it with ICAI".
This initiative provides a platform for citizens, professionals, students, entrepreneurs, and other stakeholders to contribute their valuable ideas for strengthening the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), the Chartered Accountancy profession, and India's financial and economic ecosystem.
Participants are encouraged to submit their suggestions on areas such as strengthening the Chartered Accountancy profession, promoting economic development, enhancing transparency and good governance, leveraging technology and innovation, improving financial literacy, supporting entrepreneurship, and contributing towards the vision of Viksit Bharat @2047.
The objective of this initiative is to encourage meaningful public participation and harness diverse perspectives to help build a stronger, more transparent, innovative, and future-ready Chartered Accountancy profession while contributing to an inclusive, resilient, and sustainable financial ecosystem for the nation.

सोशल मीडिया पर आज पहचान का पैमाना सिर्फ Followers, Views और Likes बन चुका है। लेकिन बुनियादी सवाल यह है— क्या Popularity = Truth? बिल्कुल नहीं। सनसनीखेज और भ्रामक कंटेंट अक्सर गंभीर शोध से ज्यादा वायरल हो जाता है। इसलिए अब Followers के साथ Content Credibility मापने के लिए 5-Star Quality Rating System समय की मांग है।
इसके लिए एक स्वतंत्र व गैर-राजनीतिक नियामक बने, जो विचारधारा नहीं बल्कि 100-अंकों के पारदर्शी सिस्टम पर कंटेंट परखे:
* तथ्य व स्रोत (Facts & Sources)
* संदर्भ व संतुलन (Context & Balance)
* सुधार नीति (Correction Policy)
* भ्रामक व हिंसक सामग्री पर रोक
Rating ≠ Censorship: कम रेटिंग का मतलब चैनल बैन करना नहीं, बल्कि जनता को सचेत करना है। निष्पक्ष तथ्यों के साथ की गई आलोचना पर रेटिंग न घटे।
इससे सोशल मीडिया की प्रतिस्पर्धा 'Viral' से हटकर 'Credible' की ओर मुड़ेगी। छोटे लेकिन गंभीर क्रिएटर्स को पहचान मिलेगी और फेक न्यूज का प्रभाव घटेगा।
फॉलोअर्स केवल लोकप्रियता बताते हैं, जबकि स्टार्स विश्वसनीयता तय करेंगे।

Dear Sir ,
CA professionals and students spend long hours in front of computers and digital devices, often working with numbers and detailed financial information. Prolonged exposure to blue light from screens deserves greater attention, particularly when screen use extends into the evening.
Blue-light protection should not necessarily be a one-size-fits-all approach. The level and type of protection may need to consider the time of day, activity, duration of exposure and surrounding light environment.
I suggest that ICAI initiate awareness and expert-led guidance on blue-light exposure and appropriate protection for its members and students, with particular attention to eye health, visual comfort and sleep wellbeing.
We at Mantis – Beyond the Blue have been working in this area and would be happy to share our approach and technology for consideration.
This could be a meaningful step towards healthier digital working practices for the CA community. Thank

ICAI is giving more focus on accounting and taxation part that shall be in future capture by AI. ICAI should also need to focus on the Share market and other Investment opportunity like InvIT, Reit and other financial Instrument including global financial Instrument like stable coin etc. and all this should be practical not just theoretical.

I think ICAI is a great organisation but in my view ICAI can do much good if the institute teach students beyond the institutionalised knowledge beyond their memorisation and try creative ways like some sorts of events like based on culture like in the way of poetry and singing and some other based on the passions of students whatever they want to do as to be creative some cultural event in regional icai bhawan

A QR-Based Digital OPD Registration and Instant Slip Printing System for Government Hospitals
मेरा विचार
“Smart OPD Network” है। सरकारी अस्पतालों में OPD की पर्ची बनवाने के लिए मरीजों को अक्सर लंबी लाइन में खड़ा रहना पड़ता है। बुजुर्गों, महिलाओं और दूर से आने वाले मरीजों के लिए यह और भी मुश्किल होता है। मेरा सुझाव है कि अस्पताल में Smart OPD मशीन लगाई जाए। मरीज मशीन पर दिए गए QR Code को अपने मोबाइल से scan करेगा और मोबाइल पर अपनी जरूरी जानकारी भरकर OPD registration करेगा। Registration पूरा होते ही मशीन से मरीज की OPD पर्ची और token number तुरंत print हो जाएगा। इससे मरीज को registration counter पर लंबी लाइन में लगने की जरूरत कम होगी और अस्पताल के कर्मचारियों का समय भी बचेगा। आगे चलकर इसमें appointment, department selection और digital health services जैसी सुविधाएँ जोड़ी जा सकती हैं। मेरा उद्देश्य सरकारी अस्पतालों की OPD प्रक्रिया को आसान, तेज और मरीजों के लिए सुविधाजनक बनाना है।

Hello Everyone, in my opinion ,I think the ICAI should focus not just improving the ways of accountancy but they should also start campaigns , drives, fests for students who have opted the subject,this not only helps us to enrich students with real life accountancy experience but also lets them know the role of Ancient India in accountancy.These events help future CA's gain intermediate knowledge through practical studies which is necessary nowadays.

My suggestion for strengthening ICAI and Viksit Bharat @2047:
ICAI should launch "Bharat Audit Stack" - an AI + Blockchain platform in 22 Indian languages for MSMEs. This will help 6 Cr MSMEs maintain books, detect fraud, and file taxes with CA verification. Simultaneously, ICAI should start "CA in Every Panchayat" financial literacy drive and "Startup CA Sahayak" for startups at low cost. Also, introduce specialised CA tracks like CA in Forensic, ESG and AI Auditing with mandatory factory residency. This will make CA profession future-ready, transparent and central to India's $30 trillion economy vision.
