AI and Semiconductor domains though have cross section , both are independent from development perspective . As AI chips are getting popular , semiconductors remain fabric/ foundry driven where India lags

-> The AI-semiconductor intersection could enhance technologies such as neuromorphic computing, photonic computing, 3D chip architectures, chiplets and in-memory computing. These approaches attempt to overcome limitations of conventional computing architectures.-> Powerful AI hardware can improve simulations and analysis in areas such as drug discovery, climate modelling, aerospace, materials science and quantum research. At the same time, AI can help discover new semiconductor materials and manufacturing techniques.-> Future processors could dynamically understand the workload they are executing and allocate computing resources accordingly. A chip can automatically balance performance, memory, temperature and energy consumption depending on the task.->Combining AI with powerful semiconductor chips will allow intelligence to move from centralized data centers to smartphones, vehicles and IoT devices. Therefore, decisions can be made locally, with lower latency and greater privacy.

Using AI and Semiconductor we can design smart supercomputers, smart quantum computers. This is challenging task but is worthy. The smart means we can build one super computer or quantum computer on single chip and can accompanying such computers on single chip means multy smart super computers or multy smart quantum computers. These kind of computers will avoid the heat produced during operations with intercommunication facility, also need to enhance research High Temperatures Superconductors.

Why AI and Semiconductors Are Converging AI is creating unprecedented computational requirements. Modern AI workloads rely heavily on parallel computation, high memory bandwidth, high-speed interconnects and specialised matrix operations. This has accelerated GPUs, TPUs, NPUs, AI ASICs and other domain-specific architectures. Memory and data movement are becoming critical. For many AI workloads, moving data between compute and memory can consume substantial time and energy. Advanced packaging and high-bandwidth memory therefore become architectural issues, not merely packaging details. A reinforcing technology loop is emerging: better AI increases demand for better silicon; better silicon makes AI more efficient; efficient AI enables new applications; new applications generate new hardware requirements.

India should go in hand in hand with integration and support of both semiconductor and AI services. Scale the capacity of semiconductor manufacturing and create JVs with different semiconductor components companies all over the world.
