Inviting Ideas for Mann Ki Baat by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 26th July 2026

Subject: Proposal for "Clean India Refund System (CIRS)" Message: Dear Sir/Madam, I would like to propose a national initiative called Clean India Refund System (CIRS). Under this system, all plastic-packaged products would include a small refundable deposit (for example, 5–10% or a fixed refundable amount). After using the product, citizens can return the empty plastic packaging at designated Waste Return Machines. The machine would verify a unique QR code on the package and refund the deposit directly to the user's UPI or bank account. This system could encourage people to return plastic instead of throwing it away, increase recycling, reduce litter on roads and public places, and support the Swachh Bharat Mission. Sir, during this student protest, the whole nation was waiting for a word from the PM. Even though there were videos where the accountability factor was spoken off earlier it didn't reach the masses, and it certainly didn't reach in time to make any impact. People were still waiting for accountability on a more ground/ personal level. I had a suggestion that, just like how Zohran Mamdani and Raghav Chadda were successful in reaching the masses with their spirit, the youth are also able to connect more to them; we should have a face whom we all can approach easily for answers or assurance when the PM can't attend to it. Same as Mann ki baat, but spread out on Instagram-like platforms with someone whom the generation can relate to. This portal, I agree, is for the whole of India, but it doesn't work to connect to everyone actively. A specific approach is required for categories.

Sir in recent times we see so much problems over the illegal immigrants and people entering the county, moreover we see then pan card, ration card, aadhar card, passport recently by MEA and other such documents have been removed from the status to prove that a person is a citizen of India. There is no official proof now to prove that someone is a citizen of India. I would like to propose a new idea of Bharat Rashtriyata Card which would be highly secured card to show and prove the citizenship of India and linking rest all documents like aadhar, income source, pan, passport all to one, this would make things more smoother and remove the black money source added to the banks, as majorly all banks have these data. Further addition to this card making just EWS category stamp shown and all rest reservations getting removed other than this. For making of the card it could be done through post offices, banks, from home. Looking forward for more on this. Thank you Prime minister

Respected Prime Minister, May I suggest Avadhanam India's ancient "Yoga of the Mind" for Mann Ki Baat. Rooted in the Vedic Shruti tradition, it trains total concentration (Chitta Ekagram) through simultaneous tasks: Ashtavadhanam (8), Shatavadhanam (100), Sahasravadhanam (1000), spanning memory, intellect and creativity. Though celebrated in Telugu and Kannada, few know of the late Dr. Chebolu Seshagiri Rao (1943-2015) of Rajamahendravaram the first Hindi Ashtavadhani, who performed over 150 Hindi Avadhanams from Delhi to Chennai, embodying Bhavatmak Ekta.
