The Income Tax Department, Ministry of Finance, Government of India, in collaboration with MyGov, invites innovative ideas and constructive suggestions from citizens, taxpayers, professionals, businesses, students, and other stakeholders to strengthen taxpayer services and contribute towards building a more transparent, efficient, and taxpayer-friendly tax administration. This participatory initiative provides a platform to share practical ideas for enhancing taxpayer awareness, simplifying compliance processes, improving digital taxpayer services, and promoting ease of compliance.

Suggestions may also focus on strengthening service delivery, leveraging emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), improving grievance redressal mechanisms, enhancing taxpayer education and outreach, and introducing innovative solutions to improve the overall taxpayer experience. Your valuable ideas will contribute towards making tax administration more accessible, technology-driven, citizen-centric, and responsive, while supporting the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047 through better public service delivery, participatory governance, and greater taxpayer trust.

सरकार को नियमित और समय पर टैक्स चुकाने वाले नागरिकों के लिए एक "टैक्स लॉयल्टी रिवॉर्ड सिस्टम" शुरू करना चाहिए। इसके तहत समय पर रिटर्न फाइल करने वालों को डिजिटल कॉइन्स या लॉयल्टी पॉइंट्स दिए जा सकते हैं, जिनका उपयोग वे सरकारी सेवाओं जैसे ट्रेन टिकट बुकिंग, हाईवे टोल प्लाजा, आदि छूट पाने के लिए कर सकें। इसके अतिरिक्त, जो करदाता इलेक्ट्रिक वाहन खरीदते हैं, सोलर पैनल लगवाते हैं, या पर्यावरण-अनुकूल व्यवसायों में निवेश करते हैं, उन्हें सीधे उनके टैक्स रिफंड में 'ग्रीन बोनस'जोड़कर अतिरिक्त वित्तीय प्रोत्साहन दिया जाना चाहिए।आजकल देश में फ्रीलांसिंग और गिग वर्कर जैसे जोमैटो, स्विगी,उबर ड्राइवर आदि संख्या तेजी से बढ़ रही है, जिनकी मासिक आय एक समान नहीं होती। उनके लिए मौजूदा टैक्स फाइलिंग प्रक्रिया थोड़ी जटिल है। सरकार को एक ऐसा एकीकृत एपीआई सिस्टम बनाना चाहिए जो उनके बैंकिंग ट्रांजैक्शन और डिजिटल पेमेंट गेटवे से सीधे जुड़ जाए। यह सिस्टम उनकी वास्तविक और अनिश्चित आय के आधार पर ऑटोमैटिकली टैक्स की गणना करे और उन्हें बिना किसी भारी दस्तावेज़ केवल एक क्लिक में बेहद सरल रिटर्न फाइल करने की सुविधा दे

आयकर विभाग को अपने ई-फाइलिंग पोर्टल पर एक एडवांस एआई-पावर्ड टैक्स सिमुलेशन टूल शामिल करना चाहिए। यह टूल करदाताओं द्वारा पिछले वर्षों में फाइल किए गए डेटा का विश्लेषण करके उन्हें यह सुझाव देगा कि वे कानूनी रूप से अपनी टैक्स लायबिलिटी को और कैसे कम कर सकते हैं। इसके साथ ही, यह टूल करदाता के निवेश पैटर्न को देखकर उन्हें भविष्य के वित्तीय वर्ष के लिए कस्टमाइज्ड टैक्स प्लानिंग गाइडेंस (जैसे कि किस फंड या स्कीम में निवेश करना फायदेमंद होगा) प्रदान करेगा, जो पूरी तरह से उनके प्रोफाइल पर आधारित होगा।ईमानदार करदाताओं को प्रोत्साहित करने के लिए सरकार को एक ऐसा पारदर्शी डैशबोर्ड बनाना चाहिए, जहां करदाता यह देख सकें कि उनके द्वारा चुकाए गए टैक्स का इस्तेमाल देश के विकास में कहां हो रहा है। ब्लॉकचेन टेक्नोलॉजी की मदद से सरकार इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर, स्वास्थ्य, शिक्षा और रक्षा जैसे विभिन्न क्षेत्रों में फंड के आवंटन को लाइव ट्रैक करने की सुविधा दे सकती है। जब करदाता अपनी स्क्रीन पर सीधे यह देखेंगे तो इससे सरकार और नागरिकों के बीच का भरोसा मजबूत होगा और लोग स्वेच्छा से अधिक टैक्स देंगे
