Following initiatives of govt will encourage parents: Application fee, Admission fee and Tuition fee are to be waived by at least 50% to the girl students in all (Government, PPP and Private) educational and research institution. In each academic programme/course (except for certain academic programmes in which only male students are admitted like mining course) of college level, at least 5% of seats should be reserved for girl students. No age limit for girls students in admission.
parents should support to his child for education.education is very important in this generation.
Namaste PM ji,
My father passed away decade ago but my mother strongly determined woman had to raise up two teen daughters. She had just done SSLC but made us possible to be independent right now. She came across several obstacles, hardships, failures, harassment and thousands of difficulties to make two young daughters continue school, college and start a career. Daughters one Asst Prof (Psy)other a Software Associate in MNC.Our True story. She Molded us to be at par with boys.
Jai Hind!
After a grand effort I was able to secure admission for my daughter few days back. Ground reality is far different. Cost of education is tremendously high which I am cost. I did not spend the amount of school fees in my entire 16 years. A large amount of population can remain far away from quality education. New land in cities is not being allotted to schools and colleges. Most land is going into housing and commercial property.
For kind attention of the PM, ministers/MPs.
Kindly read my book "India's Unique Transformation Programme" presenting a magnificent, advanced, comprehensive and progressive transformation programme for India with solutions, formulae, techniques, processes, strategy, etc. to move India in the top 10 of the UN Human Development Index. You should implement the transformation programme presented in the book. http://www.gyanbooks.com/index.php?p=sr&Uc=9789351281221&l=0, publisher www.gyanbooks.com)
The parents should be told that both boys and girls need to be brought up in a strict discipline. If they do not allow their girls to be out after sundown then they should apply it for boys as well. Leniency for boys is not required. Girls see these discrepancies and feel dejected.
Keep in mind that in order to promote education among daughters please do not lose the sight of educating the boy of a poor family who cannot go to school because if he sees from birth that his sister is getting privileges which he doesn't then one day he will feel dejected and will engage in atrocities against women. Privileges like Bicycles etc. I am not saying do not give it to girl students but keep in mind the lesser privileged boys as well.
Tell the parents one thing, that if their son-in-law dies prematurely then how will she fend for her and her kids 1. marrying another person; 2. by coaxing their stars and being dependent on their brother or brother-in-law. If these are the things they do not want to happen then let them study, they need not earn but when required they can provide for their family, they can educate their children into better human beings for the future. Tell them this is kind of an insurance policy.
DISHA program must get momentum for girl child ...as with educated girl in a family can develop a educated and Strong India
I think a nice way to encourage Parents, esp fathers in poorer farming families, to make their daughter's educated would be to make a Scheme whereby Farmer Fathers will be eligible for Special Incentives/Reduced Interest Rates (from gramin banks) if they are able to produce the School IDs of their girl child, which should be mandatorily filed every year to ensure continuance of both the financial benefit and education of the girl child !
