in my house one car and two bikes,it will be a satire if i say about controlling vehicles, but in my suggestion ,promotion of public transport among public servants or making mandatory. Why dont we design a Cycle that have shields from sun and rain, pollution
by before waiting for east or west to do like that.
12year old deisel cars mandatorily replaced.#MyGov
Dear Mr Prime Minister, Great to see the work you are doing and motivating the entire nation in all round development! My small suggestion is, if Government lets corporates adopt roads and develop a few miles stretch in cities and interested community members adopt parks in their neighborhoods with some regulations (such as plant trees, no pot holes, proper drain systems, maintaining lights, reducing traffic accidents) by governments, that will improve betterment of roads and neighborhoods.
very few payments have been made to the people from the Govt. has acquired the land for Ring Road as the Collectorate/RDC are not bother to hear the land disputes. before they start thinking about the matter they get transferred and the new once again doesn't bother about it and the chain continues.
1. First the UT administration should complete the Ring Road Project that has been pending for more than 6 years. only the bridges have been constructed but not a single km of road has been made. strict enforcement of traffic rules need to be maintained.
2. strict rules on Auto Rikshaw, who don't follow the meter system and accommodate more than 3 passengers.
3. improve public transportation.
4. construct an over bridge from pipariya to masat. and shaheed chowk to ras-resort.
First of all due to increased number of automobiles broad roads and strictness to follow rules is very necessary to avoid accidents.
We can use barricades at traffic signals so that people do not break traffic rules.
please introduce a tax on motor vehicles AND USE ALL THIS MONEY obtained from this tax to subsidise at least 50% of the cost of buying ELECTRIC VEHICLES.THUS PEOPLE WILL BE MORE INCLINED TO BUY ELECTRIC VEHICLES AND THEIR HIGHER COST WILL NOT BE A PROBLEM.
1. All vehicle registration should involve an additional amount of say 10% ofvehicle value to cover parking on roads.
2. Commercial vehicles must compulsorily show night parking (10 hours between 8pm to 8 am) exclusive availability.
3. RBI must increase margin requirements to say 40-50% for loans to private vehicles to discourage the growth of private vehicular traffic.
This is to prevent monopolization and subsequent abuse and encourage competition among contractors. Curbside stretches near busy places like hospitals, offices, commercial areas, etc should have higher rates. A further development can be licencing mobile tyre repair shops, mobile vehicle detailing and cleaning shops, mobile vehicle accessory shops, etc. near these parking stretches.
These rates can be set taking account of time of the day, no of hours parked, the per square foot rate of real estate in that neighborhood, type of vehicle, holiday parking, frequency of parking, etc. Contractors should be individuals only and their services should include insurance cover for theft, damage, etc. They should not be given the same stretch more than 3 times consecutively & no contractor should be able to have more than 2 contracts involving a parking total of say 300 vehicles.
Roadside parking may be encouraged without direct involvement of government. For this, government must auction out stretches of curbside parking for periods of maximum 1 year, for night and day parking to contractors. These contractors shall pay a upfront lumpsum licence fee and recover it from parked vehicles based on rates approved by government.
