ADOPT clean Ganga: Individuals,groups,corporations can adopt meters to kilometers of the entire length of 2525 kms . It will be even more beneficial if we can know the cost per meter to clean Ganga so people can pool in thousands of smaller or larger groups to help clean Ganga

Lets install hundreds of electric crematoriums around the river bank. Make it illegal for individuals to cremate bodies. We all understand and respect the religious sentiments, however we are NOT doing justice to the motherland by disposing off partially charred bodies into the life giving waters. My friend from the US actually captured many pictures of disgusting waste (humans and animals bodies) floating in the water during his visit to Banaras. Really sorry for the river and its people !! :(

The main reason for pollution in any water body is industrial waste and sewer waste. These are the 2 most toxic element which contribute most to the pollution. All the industries and Municipality that do not process waste before releasing it should be severely punished. The punishment should be very tough and published so that other fear to do the same.

I want yo post suggestions for FCI reforms but this portal has no place to post the same, please guide me.

please avoid using polythene bags as much as you can because this is one of the most dangerous pollution creating material.
and one more thing that the oxygen used by a single person is generated by 19 trees, so plant as much trees as you can and make our city clean and green.....
