To Ganga river and its spices are in danger because of we humans.crores of people who get their blessing from Ma Ganga in form of lively hood .Its not a river but She is mother.we our self made this biggest mistake to make the water polluted cant we make it proper fields like removing industrial areas and planting more trees on the side of river,blocking all sewage connections which are left towards river,we have seen our rituals make it more dirty.May Ma Ganga bless everyone for more lack years

The Ganga provides the only way for some people to carry on their trade, like supplying bamboo to those who need them, but does that give them the right to pollute the river? Day in and day out, that is what goes on at Uttarpara in West Bengal, right under the nose of 2 naval vessels parked on the river round the clock!

sirji, i suggest banning use of PAN based detergents and replace them with PBN based ones which are biodegradable and doesn't pollute rivers for long.
