Please Save Aravali forests. The recent news says Govt is reversing earlier order and declaring them no forest. These green belt is Gurgaon's only defense against pollution, storm water treatment and desert dust storm. If they are gone, city will need gas masks to even breath. Gurgaon has lost 85% of bio-diversity instead of encouraging clean air by more trees, this is least expected. http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/india/Aravali-not-a-forest-says-Hayana-order/articleshow/4

government should give plant sapling to every child in the school to grow them in their localities, and it should encourage the farmers to grow them in their boundaries of their field

KIST(Karnataka State Institute of science and technology) has been promoting use of Filters for enabling rainwater usage for daily use. The rainwater that collects on roofs and slabs of individual houses is filtered and used. This should be implemented india wide especially in major cities. This will help in preventing loss of rainwater runoff and water logging on city roads. The groundwater recharge practice and awareness(enlighting about process) is more important now than ever in big cities.

Sir we need to implement compulsion on every house owner to plant and nurture 2 trees and if they cut the same they should be fined heavily and jailed for 2 days. and put a black mark on their name as they would be destroying the mother earth. This would help in increasing the green cover in the nation.

Plantations in public parks, ope land in cities and roadside plantations should be done entirely by people of locality and RWAs. They should be encouraged to grow trees of botanical and herbal values. This will increase greenery and also educate people about trees.

Why not invite big companies to adopt vacant land in different cities to grow trees to reap fruit and vegetable harvest. These companies have money to spend and resources to utilise harvest. We may have Parle pineapple fields or Kissan orange orchards. This will bring greenery in larger areas, help farmers, increase production and beautify cities.
