If experience at the embassy is important so as equally important the conduct of our immigration officers at the Indian airports, i understand that it is very important job, but they are equally rude, unprofessional, they make the people to hop from one counter to another, only good thing is they are equally bad to people from Africa as to whites and to Indians.

Just to let you all know tranfer of oci to new passport from old and fresh oci application is the same. I wish, government should speed up the process of transfer of oci from old passport to new passport , as they already hold record of such a person. Just a Sugestion.

Many OCIs are showing "under process" on the Status, we request the Government to prevail upon concerned to expedite the process of pending applications. As is the case in Indian passport aplications, affidavits are allowed, the same should be done for OCI, to prove once Indian Origin, in lieu of domicile/nativity.Due to the news of his coming we get very polite replies from Indian Embassy.

Once I had to visit our consulate in Melbourne Australia for my passport renewal queries. Staff didn't have smile on their face, it looks like they were doing some favor, in short treatment was not warm welcoming and felt that iam from third world country.
But when I had visited Australian Visa office for my visa, their staff were so supporting and felt like they are the real staff who cares for the people.
Our staff in Embassy should change their attitude towards our people.

I have been to indian consulate new york. the place is difficult to find far away. also the system was complex although my job was done in time. we need to have better user experience as a indian citizen.
A review of all the embassies by way of feedback system from each person that visits the premises would be good. and it should be anonymous then analyze the data of every office and rate them.

1) Voting rights for Non Resident Indians in their country of Residence.
2) Every job visa issued by other country is to be verified by the government seen many people from my state going to UAE and other golf states struck there because of fake visas or inappropriate visas by consultancies. the measures to stop by govt with helplines is not working there are still many illegal Indian immigrants staying abroad. please make necessary verification's regarding such visas and speak to them.
