the formal education abroad, it is in sync with trade practices & the student is ready immediately after he passes out. In India it is never the case. Real education begins after u pass out & get employed. what is there to check & implement when none of the learnings can be used. You are better off than others bcoz u r familiar with the jargon .Ultimately it is all about jugad vasooli. Y not introduce this as a full semester teaching this both in field & classroom. Govt can have real genuine exchange with countries with FTA, MFN clauses . preferably with existing entreprenurs background & not babus & we the maliks 4 ayyashi . Or even a bond, cost to be paid if not used in relevant field with 3 years.
Regular updates available on specific site country wise for export potential , MEA India should be doing it for all & not for select few or even their clan like happening in railways . all garnered by mp/mla/babu fronts with 3rd class product- sinks, commodes, doors bedding etc.

IIFT - what is the importance of knowing the language & rules of the foreign country from where trade ends /originates .
LC document still remain vague. did we not see lac crores of public money syphoned by we the maliks. No book/course teaches it . The method of trade has changed drastically . Most students /practioners not aware of it. Those aware , learning from best & trade partners, not accepted by the regulating agencies. be it High seas trade, postal/courier transport, transshipments especially small bulk , partial loads. & settlement of insurance claims another Jumla. EXIM policies 4 protection only name sake. Entrprenurs have committed suicide & ruined the generations bcoz of gandy marji of we the maliks deciding on the fate . Unclaimed dividends, ppf shares , deposits in lac crores being abused by twe the maliks &BRAs gown upholders tughlaq collegium as too tedious . cases takes 5 generations to resolve when biz wants it yesterday . will the course bring the change ?

what makes a good IIFT , learning & practicing the tricks of the global trade. what value systems are guiding the trade. Ordinarily basics, fitness for use, honoring commitments & in return getting paid for what is agreed with integrity. Money laundring, inflating, /deflating import/export & commissions loot both sides the official legit vasooli including regulating 3rd party agencies ? Open secrets, hidden costs & even missing containers , short /excess supplies. Every ordinary suffers for fault of 2 % of the maliks of India . Y india is not even trusted in the gulf & probably africa where most indians r at key positions. Indian products r a complete in developed world . what can be done to change it . export incentives, & import tariffs barriers used inconsistently . where & when is the long term stability 4 it ?
Both Pre & Post import/export processes r in the hands of babus who r out to destroy trade for self & we the maliks. what is it being done to correct it .

FTII what has it done so far ? It consists of both import & export . who is to blame for unnecessary imports all thru #azadikaamrit mahotsav . where is the data for imports in public/education domain . Y were & still importing obsolete technology & products at 10x the price - all jumla resulting in NPAs. what incentives have been given for import reduction. Good import v/s bad import. 1st time we saw Oil Imports used for value exports.
How much does formal education help . can we see established professionals in pvt sector taking question and advising students & answering honestly ? Not more than 25 Is is it FTA, lobbying. politics, which country rules take priority , import/export/WTO , banking, insurance, documentation, logistics, cost, duty etc.
Y did india lose out to even bangladesh/srilanka vietnam in textiles & ofcourse china everywhere. Y is it easy 4 china to export globally what makes them world leader
