Animals have always had an important place in Indian culture, as we see that in Hinduism every deity is assigned an animal or bird vehicle. Our culture teaches us to be kind to animals and birds, although in modern times the habitats of animals are decreasing due to massive deforestation, the habitats of animals are being protected and conserved due to schemes like cheetah rehabilitation, tiger projects. The declaration of new National Parks will benefit the development and conservation of the forest sector in the future. We can work to stop global warming only if healthy biodiversity is maintained, forest and wild life are interdependent so protection of forest and wild life is necessary, many endangered animals like one horned rhinoceros (Indian rhinoceros), Asiatic lion, tiger, etc. have been saved after independence. We can understand India's affection for animals from the success it has achieved.
