Dear Prime Minister,
We were in the gathering at the AllPhones Arena in Sydney yesterday and may I say that
your speech was very inspirational and motiviating!
It is very pleasing to listen to a Prime minister who is just not "talking the talk" but willing to "walk the walk". More pleasing to hear that he wants all Indians to join him in the walk.
There is a considerable improvement in the roads in India. I was home for holidays last month and found that the highways are of world standard now.
What is required now is for the drivers to come to speed on how to drive on these roads!
Can I suggest that using the electronic media, the government should orchestrate a campain to educate the public on road rules, speed limits, driving etiquete etc..
A carefully and thought provoking and funny cartoon like snippets can be developed and aired during popular shows. The TV, radio, Facebook, instagram, email can be effectively harnessed.
Even this very website can have a section.
Swachh Bharat should be a responsibilty of each and every Indian. This should be made part of the school carriculum. Every kid should be taught about healthy living, cleanliness.
Education is you right pointed out is not the amassing of knowledge meerely to get a career.
It should be about the all round development of a citizen who is becomes a role model and fulfills his duties to the nation and thus to the people.
Airports are the gateways to the nations. A visitor entering the country should be made welcome. He should be carried out with the goodwill and the hospitalitly shown.
Unfortunately our airports come no where close. Auckland airport in New zealand has very high standards. Not only do travellers find them selves come out in less than 30 mins, the efficiency, hospitality and customer service is second to none. We have a lot to learn.
To start with the immigration document that you fill when you land is archiac.
Needs to be simplified and made easier. We are in an electronic age where information is availbel in the finger tips! We need not only to think on how to catch up with the advanced world but go ahead. We need to first believe that we can be the best and then work hard towards it.
Mr. Prime Minster, I have no doubt that you are right person to lead this proud country in the right path.
Showcasing our beautiful country to the rest of the world can be done if you provide the facilites to do that. Hotels, roads, hospitality, customer service need to be improved.
Some of the temples in India take my breath away!
We need to Show case them to world...
The beautiful culture, food etc..
Lets Go India! We have a lot to catch up!
But with the will, determination, hardwork and above all belief we can do it.
Sudhir Mooray Pasala
Sydney.

plants also should be made compulsory in every house/apartment, government and private offices. As not much area is required in construction plan itself a small area should be allocated to percolation pits and plants. then only other clearences should be given and some rounds should be taken by officers to see them if they are properly maintained or not. Sir if these are already in your thought process, you can neglect this message.

so that water level will be increasing gradually in coming years. some thing like this can be done in farms also so that it will help farmers during no rains to grow some other crops if which require somewhat less water other than water intensive crop.
also strict rules should be there to not to cut trees for road purposes also. always authorities should find other alignment or other options since it takes generations to grow such big trees.

Respected Sir, as ground water level is decreasing, rivers are drying up, availability of water has become a big problem especially during summers. Sir what if it is made compulsory in every house that they should have percolation pits with proper fencing so that it will not be danger to children or elders. In existing house people should be asked compulsorily to construct. And in coming up constructions, in all government and private offices.

Suggestion to "External affairs ministry" regarding issuing a passport to citizens ! As per rule, why it is mandatory to stay for min. 1 year as current address to get passport. Don't we have freedom to live anywhere in our country, then why this compulsion ? Just to get a passport we need to stay at current address for a year ?? Many young people like me changes jobs frequently and hence their residence as well, even within a city they changes residence nearby company they work.

Hon'ble Prime Minister,

We have been engaged in grassroot development activities since last 12 years but our constructive and formal engagement in this sector is from last 2 years. We have established NGO named Dishantar in 2012 (for more information: www.dishantar.org). We have been struggling from inception of the organization for generating funds. We observe that in India, not only NGO but in every sector, if you want to work, you have to show formal and structured experience. We as NGO need at least 3-5 years minimum experience for any of the govt. project to be implemented at grassroots. Why is it so? Don't you think, we are killing people's motivation to work. Can we bring forward any such reserved workspaces which will be meant for only new-comers in each of the field? Do think about this. Lakhs of motivated people would contribute in innovation and development.
