Brain Drain is a multifaceted issue & not a simple one related to opportunities and resources.Instead of focusing to create a level playing field,preferences based on birth has become a norm.Not only does it breed dissatisfaction but also contempt leading to search of islands of justice (so to speak) away from home.The rewards of efforts put help motivate to achieve more. Work to create an environment free from biases & more than half will be back to create a better today and a better tomorrow.

I am living in Kerala and knows the business aspects of education system ,here most talented students from poor families were defeated by wealthy people and reservation candidates ,it should be controlled. Govt should identify them and use their brain

Sir I don't know if my opinion going to help or not but I'll like to make a point for the brain drain thing, I have seen people leaving country not because they were not getting paid less but because they couldn't find a job in our country, I'm not trying to make any negative comment but I think its time when we should make concrete policies on demand and supply of graduates coming every year.like number of engineering colleges should be reduced as the demand is less and production is more.

its very easy. keep tabs on every promising researches done ( science, commerce etc) even if it is in fields of history. try to commercialize them as products and send the information to all rural areas. this will create opportunities and people will be attracted towards new ideas.

So what these unfortunate people who cannot get into a post graduate course in their own country do? They move abroad for greener pastures , where merit is completely respected and everyone gets what he/she deserves. How to stop it? BASIC CRITERIA for admissions/promotions should be followed religiously. Donation/capitation based admissions are making a mockery of students who study the whole year after year to get into these courses. Alas , most students already give up even before the start.

To start with an example. A MBBS passed out bright student does not get admission in a post graduation. While another few get mainly because of donations or reservations. Killing of Merit atleast at post graduate level should be put to end gradually. There has to be some minimum criteria for giving admissions though these means. Open Category students of poor parents are left with no options and have to remain content with what they can get and cannot realise their true potentials.

I am from Mexico, why my education here is linked with industry, I am working for industry, Mexico government is paying me even for Indians. In IITs, NITs, IIMs, and other Universities do not tell how to make new companies, how to work it out, they only created educated people. To work in real sense has to go out of India. And this reality has to be changed. Then automatically Indian brain come back.

I have to inform you that is our Education system's is so poor an other country's. You had to improved our Educatoin then "brain drain"is not happing on our country.
Evary Public School should be following Govt roule or regularity. Govt undertake all the school,college, university.
