Food directly affects to life of the people. Food is the responsibilty which can't be outsourced or provatized in any country. Restructing of FCI is important, but mismanagement of Govt can't be blamed to a office or a manager. Lack of Shades/Godown is the major problem. Food grain is rooten in open land without proper shades/godown. Lack of e-governance is another factor why lakes of toned of grain took by thef each year.

FCI can help in supporting price of food-grains (in case of excessive production), thereby safeguarding the interests of the farmers. But the procurement should be limited to what can be utilized in a year plus stored without getting spoiled and storage should be cost effective (i.e. its cost is not more than average cost of imported food-grain). This will ensure food security. It should follow FIFA.
