i am suggesting railways that for the metropolitan cities like mumbai(which have local trains system)..when we board any express train we usually travel without ticket from the suburb station to the boarding station.I from ambernath(a town in thane) travel without ticket to kalyan and there are millions of those people because in now-a-days nobody wants to queue in a line.So,i would suggest that if you could then you can incorporate a field which allows you to book that extra ticet too...

i think railway should give all ticket only through online. for this railway should available ticket on mobile, e-mitra and other specific website. And name of person should have on the ticket, because of this ticket agent can't give this ticket to anyone. this process can stop black marketing of ticket.

Wherever the TATKAL tickets are full/over within 15 minutes between two locations, GOVT has to realize that in this route New Trains are required. This is clear indication of Traffic analysis. Trains which are running with 10 to 100 passengers need to be cancelled immediately.

Online ticketing system especially the website needs a complete overhaul. The site is very poor in performance and when one goes to book a ticket sharp at 8 AM in the morning you get 404 error - page not found. By the time you recover you find that you are in a massive waiting list.
