All our big and small festivals mostly have agricultural and medicinal background. All the foods of the festival seasons have the power to ward off the infectious diseases of their respective seasons. All the festive foods and customs help in developing morals, virtues and social contribution.Besides keeping farmers alive, we should celebrate festivals that promote our physical, mental and social health. We care about the likes and comments that strangers give us on social media.Trust us during festivals.Help those who are waiting. We should celebrate the festival so that we and the farmers, traders and artists around us will be well.Festivals are what bring us together with society.Support local products and local businesses.
Govt should issue invitations for everyone to celebrate with traditional dress & food
Every moment of the festival day is important and should avoid cinema, alcohol etc

More details about different festivals should be broadcasted through national television channels
India has a very diverse culture and each region has its own style of celebration. If you love exploring the culture of India, you must attend these unique and lesser-known festivals of India. With the second-largest population in the world and the biggest democracy, India offers an endless variety of cultures and beliefs. It’s a country, where you will step into a new kind of cultural community every few hundred kilometers and this also brings with it a variety of customs and celebrations. We, Indians don’t just accommodate all but celebrate life to its fullest. It can literally be called the ‘land of festivals’ where rich cultures, traditions, and beliefs coexist at their vibrant best. There are several prominent festivals that are celebrated across the country and include the Durga Puja in West Bengal, Ganapati Chaturthi in Maharashtra, Diwali across the country, Holi specific to Northern India but again celebrated all over, Dushera as the alternative to Durga Puja.
Innovative Steps from Shreya Naigaonkar. As this is the age of modern technology, I feel, our creative steps should now also be technologized and moreover being one of the massive users of Google browser, Step 1- we can collaborate with the Google itself to dedicate a "Google for Doodle" for that every festival which is unsung amongst many. Step 2- While opening any of our government apps or webpages, a 30 second video dedicated to that lesser-known festival should be played first. Step 3- There should be countrywide online quizzes/competitions held on the occasion of that festival in order to highlight its importance. I strongly believe that by implementing these small changes can bring about a huge difference.
Cunduct interstate cultural programs . Include rare cultural activities in schools and colleges during camps . Try to add more and more less known art forms in national festivals and during August 15th and indipendance day programs
