We talk about bridging social gaps & unity in the country but its not possible until we stop asking kids in schools that from which cast and creed it belongs, right from the time of admission to the time of taking a leaving certificate we make our children remember whom it belongs & make them think there r various castes & creeds whom we consider low or high. V need to bring a change in it, We need to stop questioning our kids about their religion & their castes in their admission forms and LC.

Dear #PM sahib.
I am a student. Being a male student and that too without a quota is pretty difficult these days. There are so many top institutions in which we don't get admission, just because of some other SC/ST/OBC candidate who is more well off financially but is far behind in academics than most of the general students are. You have a plan for a skill based India, but the reservation system that prevails has many flaws in it and does more harm to the general candidates

We study diligently for competitive exams, later realising that the seat that we sweat for day and night is taken by a student who did not even score half the marks that we did. The system needs a change. Reservations based on caste are creating further alienations.
This is not the equality our constitution proposes. Please find time to read this and ponder upon the harms that this system is creating. We need a meritorious India, not and India in the shambles of the quota system.

The gender and social gap is high in a society like India. We have diverse people with unique cultural and religious backgrounds. Most of the girls are married at around 20 and they loose the chance for higher education. It is not practical to increase the age for marriage as this would lead to an ageing society. What we can do is to make them re-enter the studies by assisting them to start it over again after marriage. We may reserve some percentage of seats for married women to make it 50%
