Hospitals , Medicines, Ambulances, or services to cater to the large urban populations. of metro cities. Even in Mumbai in Municipal Hospitals or Govt Hospitals you would find no hygine or no equipments or no medicines available or no doctors available or no nursing staff available etc. A very common situation. All congress past Govts in the State of Maharashtra have allowed the situations to deteriorate beyond repair due to PAUCITY of FUNDS for Healthcare of its own Citizens.

It is well known fact that India has the largest population with the least no of qualified doctors to cater to this large population, but year after year none in the State Govts or Central Govts are doing anything to improve the facilities or conditions in Hospitals. There is no accountability in Public Organisations whatsoever to the public at large or to the Govt and hence the services are deteriorated to a very low level. In Maharashtra itself the most advanced state doesn't have enough

Govt is not spending enough to build infrastructure of hospitals and medical services . There is a shortage of staff of Doctors and staff in India ,All the Nurses and good staff learn their skills in Govt or Private Hospitals and go out of India for higher income. Hospitals have become commercialized due to Private Stakeholders having vested interests of making a profit out of Peoples vulnerability and helplessness. There are no laws regulating the cost of hospitalization or medicines.

Govt is not serious on "Health Issues at all" as Swine flu is something not born in India , it is a migratory disease which has been carried into India by outsiders infected by it and then spread due to teeming millions of Population. The unhygienic conditions including many govt hospitals are a glaring example where a normal person can become sick when he is admitted to the hospital. Plenty of awareness and dedicated staff with Zero level tolerance for Unhygenic conditions would be required.

It is not the MODI's working style through which now MODI government is treating this issue. as per official records around 850 died & 14000 infected. Why government is not able to arrange medicines & Vaccines. The statement of Mr. JP Nada was the statement like ManMohan. Expectations are high from MODI..
