1.divide urban into parts: SLUM fully done by govt, COLONIES on PPP, commercial like subzimundies etc fuly funded by themselves but part policing by officials.
2.there are small markets where hawkers etc organise flea market, police takes bribe, instead legalise that & use (bribe) money for cleanliness.3.the poor hawkers would not feel extra burden & cleanliness would improve. similarly for all commercial est.4.rebuild slums into colonies asin SURAT, lead by revamping DHARAVI as example

To clean india there should be closed dustbin at every 50 mtrs of road and it should be cleand twice a day...

These days lot of private volvo and luxury buses are plying between cities. There are lots of toll gates. We should establish toilets and baths for the use of all on pay& use basis at all toll gates. As of now, the drivers stop wherever they want and people are using open places.

Urban- garbage bins in cities at 500 metres distance. Garbage collection van should come in early hours of morning to collect waste everyday. There should be toll free number of vans/ municipality so that the people can call it if bins are not cleared any day. Rural- along with toilets waste management is important. Local SHGs can be utilized for waste collection. the whole chain of collection has to be achieved. Banners of cleanliness on trains and stations. daily checking of cleanliness.

Our Municipalities and corporation can collect organic waste materials separately and place it in a digester(Bio-gas Plant) where it degrades and bio gas is produced which can be utilised as cooking gas instead of LPG which is a costly one and not in reach for poor. The municipality can give a certain amount for the organic waste collected which can be regained by selling Bio Gas.When concerned with Non Organic Materials please encourage the use of materials which can be recycled.

Respected Sir, maybe setting up dustbins all over cities and putting sign boards of "use me" written in attractive fonts could help. The spots where dustbins would be kept should be kept exceptionally clean to encourage people to go near them. This, in my view, can really help cleaning India because people will have someplace to properly dispose off waste. Even if more than 50% people start using dustbins, it will help.

tackling urban and rural cleanliness....
i prefer separation of the cleaning task as
1) disposal from the arising points and
2)handling and disposal of collected bulk waste..first item demands very little contrivances/ technology and driven by discipline/ practice..2nd one requires bigger technology and investment...Issues are common otherwise for rural and urban areas, with differance in the volume and type of waste arising

In Every village and town must have a " hygienic army" as volunteers to control and propaganda with help of government bodies . "Main motto of the army" is cleanliness.

Dear Mr. Prime Minister!
The Swacch Bharat Movement is a great Initiative. But what arrangements have we made to dispose off all the waste we are gonna gather by sweeping the roads? If all those are gonna lie dumped in the wastelands outside the cities and be burnt in open air polluting the air and environment, will that be good? shouldn't this problem be tackled in the reverse method? shouldn't waste management be prioritized and put into form before speaking of sweeping the country?
