In order to reduce the gap between education and industry, we should practice updating our educational curriculum at frequent interval. Every revision taking place in curriculum should include new industry adopted topics and let go with outdated topics. However, to do this we would need to have our teachers updated all the time. To enable this, every year a special session can be organized where industry persons would have direct discussion with the teachers and course committee regarding this.

Higher education must be linked directly with the industry. Vocational education must be given equivalent status or at par status with diploma/ degree courses. this will help youth to develop their own livelihood and will give a direct employment to the young ones. China, UK, Australia are examples in front of us. Vocationalisation must be top priority for the Govt. if we get 30% success in next 2-3 yrs, India will be the MOST POWERFUL NATION in the world.

Regulatory regime must be strengthened, there are thousands of engineering colleges, which don't have any equipment. Their staff is also sub- qualified. Teaching is really in a very bad shape let alone employablity. Practical training must be focussed. This can't be done without the cooperation of faculty. They must be taken on board for this.

Industry should be taken on board while deciding curricula. We have certain parts in our education which are completely outdated. And there is no need to do that ones. We should seek industry's views and impart that technologies which are currently used by industries. Internships in training should be promoted and these internships should be value adding. Industries must take their interns very seriously. Also there should be open procedure for selecting interns. Industry leaders should visit...

Therefor the gov can bring up a particular sector where they cn fuNd a college in buying latest technologies or help in collabrating a collage with an indystry to help them to study during there graduation. course we have manpower bt we lack skills

The syllabus that we are made to study is not at all useful when we look out for job.
Syllabus changes needs to be done at certain short intervals.Teachers should be well qualified and must do justice to their role. Practical knowledge should be given greater priority as compared to theoretical knowledge.

Dear Friends,

Theoretical education without practical education is creating paper tigers. Kindly find as attached my views on Skill India. The tool rooms of our Schools, Engineering Colleges, ITIs must be equipped with the latest technology.

We must teach in these tool rooms the basics, advance operations, process to achieve the best finish, safety, optimisation of resources.

Kind Regards,

for industry to get the proper people, we have to be trained as per the industry requirements. Hence, every graduate should have base knowledge of computers, science,1 language apart from his mother tongue and English, maths and finance. This was he can get a job in every part of the world and also enable him to add value to any job that he does. Corporates need people who can have certain basic education. Once, we can provide these qualified personnel to them then India can grow.
