Sir, Of late we are noticing EV vehicles catching fires randomly - when plying, or when being charged. This is posing a grave concern in our mind - how safe EV vehicles are compared to traditional ICE vehicles? I think the battery technology is still at its infancy and needs to be developed so that apart from safety, it also becomes ecologically friendly. I have seen EV charging station being powered through gensets to produce power so that EVs can be charged. This is beating the original purpose of EVs which is to reduce dependency on fossil fuels. Moreover, I am also concerned about environment friendliness of EV batteries - the manufacturing them is energy intensive, at the same time disposing off old batteries also impacts the environment. Many big names like Tesla, Mercedes have started rethinking about their EV plans in view of these challenges. I request the Govt to take a serious note about it and not rush through EV adoption blindly. Kind Regards.

परम आदरणीय प्रधानमंत्री जी सादर प्रणाम ! यूँ तो " भारत हरित बुनियादी ढांचे के लिए हजारों उत्तम सुझाव आये हैं , मैं कुछ हटकर अपनी राय जिसमे कम से कम खर्च और अधिकतम बचत होगी और ट्रैफिक जैम से भी मुक्ति मिलेगी इस प्रकार रखना चाहता हूँ : 1 ) सर्वप्रथम मेट्रो शहर / बड़े शहर जहाँ वाहनों की अधिकता है, प्रत्येक जगह पर यदि लाल बत्ती सिग्नल वो भी काउंटर के साथ , ताकि सभी वाहन चालक काउंटर के हिसाब से वाहन के इंजन को स्विच ऑफ मोड में कर दें तो पुरे भारत के सभी वाहनों की ईंधन बचत जोड़ी जाय तो साल का खरबों रूपया बच सकता है और हम भारत को 2047 से पहले ही आत्मनिर्भर और विकसित बना सकते हैं. क्योंकि सो हम अभी तेल आयात कर रहे हैं उस पैसे को हम अन्य विकास कार्यों में लगा पाएंगे . इस कार्य में हर शहर के ट्रैफिक कंट्रोल अधिकारी और सभी नागरिकों का प्रयास अपेक्षित है . जिस प्रकार आपने सूरत में पूरा ट्रैफिक आटोमेटिक कर दिया था उसी प्रकार पूरे भारत में हो जाय तो निश्चित तौर पर चौंकाने वाले परिणाम सामने आ सकते हैं ( एक लाल बत्ती - विकास की गारंटी )
