राष्ट्रीय ऊर्जा संरक्षण दिवस को हर वर्ष 1991 से 14 दिसंबर को मनाया जा रहा ...
1) First 'Avoid' the use of energy by 1/3rd, even if it is solar energy
2)Then 'Minimize' the use of energy by another 1/3rd, using energy efficient appliances
3) Generate' only remaining 1/3rd energy locally using renewable sources.
4) Wrinkle dress every weekdays( to start with one or two days) thus saving energy.
5) Conserve rainwater
6) Building with energy efficient window design
7) Filter water used for washing vegetable and fruits and use the same for flushing in toilets
8) Solar roof tops
9) Use BLDC fans and motors, LED lights etc
1. USE FLUORESCENT BULBS You can save energy and money, too. 2. TURN OFF YOUR COMPUTER AT NIGHT Save 40 watts a day. 3. RECYCLE You'll help reduce pollution. 4. GO VEGETARIAN It takes more water to produce one pound of beef. 5. USE LESS TISSUES Or use half - do you really need one whole piece? 6. USE BOTH SIDES OF PAPER Set your printer's default option to print double-sided. 7. TAKE THE STAIRS Healthier for you and kinder to the planet. Why use the lift if it's only a few flights? 8. BE CREATIVE AND REUSE Things like bags, bows and paper can be turned into a present or something useful. 9. TAKE SHORTER SHOWERS, SKIP BATHS You'll save water and electricity on heating. 10. SWITCH OFF THE LIGHT Not just for Earth Hour but whenever you don't need it.
Conservation of Water & Power through Cattle rearing in dry land agriculture
Cattle and soil go hand in hand, if we have cattle while they are grazing the dung & urine will be added to the soil directly.
If we observe after 4-5 days, dung will get start to decompose. After removing these we observe holes in that part which are caused due to earthworms. When it rains, the rainwater goes through the holes and rest at 15 feet below the ground level.
When the plant requires water through percolation by means water vapor it reaches to the roots of the plant. By this we are saving the water, if it is dry land, we are saving power too for the sake of future generations.
As humans, we are not aware of saving water for future generations, but the cattle by means of their dung & urine saving both water & power for future generations.
Saving means generating water & power.
It is the greatness of Bharatiya Traditional Agriculture
