Each division may have a more specialized Hospital and be attached to a Medical College. Each State may have still more specialized Hospital and a number of States can be served by a Medical Institute of the caliber of AIIMS. The distribution should base on area-cum-population criteria rather than the ability of State to snatch. All private Hospitals must be nationalized like the banks have been. Private practice must be confined to individual doctors treating usual illness.

There should be Primary Health Centre for a defined number of populace. It may also have Homeopathic and Ayurvedic sections. The Center should have, like Village Extension Workers of Development Blocks, a number of Village Healthcare Workers with appropriate qualifications. Each district should have a multi-specialty Hospital. They are in existence but have to upgraded and made people oriented. The glory of Civil Surgeon’s time must return to them.

ESIC is compulsory for all employees whose gross salary is less than Rs.10001/- Per month.But it has been see that most of the companies through out the India not adopting the same. if PM declare the compulsion & initiate the campaign then this is will be veryyyy helpful for all the labors & its family health

Commercialization should stop in both sectors. The consultation fee of doctors based on qualification, specialization and experience, charges of each pathological or radiological investigation and cost of each surgery based on level of hospitals should be strictly prescribed by the government. Likewise, fee for different educational courses including medical ones depending the status of Institutes be also fixed. No one should have license hold people to ransom.

Poor can’t even think of going to private hospitals. It has to be free or nominal cost healthcare. Canada, faced with severe healthcare problem after WW II, has developed a National Medicare Program in 1960-70s reaffirmed in Canada Health Act 1984. We can draw upon it. Now with Jandhan Yojana, each citizen, within or beyond, may contribute a monthly amount in account for education of children and healthcare of dependents. Such linking may boost the scheme itself and generate a Fund.

Its really a goid initiative. I work for NHS- Bational Health Services UK. There is much more than collection of blood which can contribute in safe administration of blood. I think from collection till the blood s sdministered there should be a standard procedure. And the most important part of it is monitoring system. We have to monitor each unit of blood from collection till administration. This is for the saftey of public. Thank you.

India seems to have become a laboratory for experiments on humans. Anybody can operate a person when elsewhere only a specialist doctor in a particular field has to carry out a particular operation. The doctors educated in India are normally not accepted in developed countries except for generalized jobs. This doesn’t mean that we haven’t made a mark in the sector but our carelessness, especially when it comes to poor and not influential, plays on our ability.
