Today, admissions to central universities, medical colleges, and many professional courses are based on competitive exams like CUET and NEET, making board marks relevant only for basic eligibility. Instead of emphasizing a single board exam, government schools should include systematic preparation for competitive examinations and help students develop skills in the fields they are interested in, so that education becomes more informative, practical, and aligned with higher education and career pathways.

नया वर्ष आने वाला है और नए वर्ष के आते ही हम सभी नए वर्ष का कैलेंडर लाते हैं। आप सब ने देखा होगा कि हमारे अधिकांश भारतीय त्योहारों की फिक्स डेट नहीं होती। उनकी डेट हर वर्ष बदलती है। ऐसा इसीलिए होता है क्योंकि अधिकांश भारतीय त्योहार विक्रम संवत तिथि अनुसार मनाए जाते हैं। अब आप पूछेंगे तिथि क्या होती है: सूर्य और चंद्रमा के बीच में 12 डिग्री के फर्क को एक तिथि होती है। हमारे देश में अनेकों प्रकार के संवत चलते हैं जैसे विक्रम संवत, शक संवत, वीर निर्वाण संवत, शंकराचार्य संवत, कृष्ण संवत आदि। कैलेंडर में तारीख और दिन की जानकारी होती है। भारत की प्राचीन कालीन समय से खगोल शास्त्र को पंचांग के रूप में दर्ज किया जाता है। पंचांग में ग्रहों और तारों की रिलेटिव पोजीशन की गणना की जाती है। सदियों से इस गणना के विशेषज्ञ ऐसा कर रही हैं। यह बहुत गर्व की बात है कि हमारी प्राचीन खगोल गणना आज की वैज्ञानिक उपकरणों से भी सत्य साबित हो रही है। यह आश्चर्य कर देने वाली बात है कि उसे समय जब आज के युग जैसे वैज्ञानिक उपकरण नहीं थे तब भी हमारे भारतीय ऋषि मुनियों ने इतनी सटीक गणना बनाई थी

Macaly व्यवस्था ने, हमारे देश के युवा को इंट्रोवर्ट (Introvert) बना दिया है । भारत के इतिहास में शूरवीरों की कहानीया भरी पड़ी है जिसमें भारतीय वीरों ने और वीरांगनाओं ने बुलंदी के साथ गलत का विरोध किया। वर्षों की गुलामी ने हमें गलत होता देख आंख बंद करना, कान बंद करना और मुंह बंद करना सिखा दिया है। अब समय आ गया है कि हम इन बेडियो को तोड़े अपने मन की झिझक से बाहर निकले। गलत का विरोध करना भी जरूरी है इसलिए नए वर्ष में पहला महीना रोको-टोको महीना के रूप में मनाएंगे। जो गंदगी फैलाए उन्हें रोकना, उन्हें टोकना है।
