Install CCTV cameras in all major junctions, trouble areas and other important buildings and maintain them with proper team and serve the purpose to citizens, not to leave it as dump
Improve efficiency in government department functions by installing biometric attendance system,pasting citizen charter and taking actions on violations

(i) Solar is an obvious choice of renewable source of power. Since it is in infancy stage & expensive, govt may step-up to buy solar power from households how much ever small it may be. Smart meters can be brought in to exactly measure how much has been sold and this will interest people to invest in solar energy. This is the only but sure way for chennai to become energy surplus. Imagine every household of Chennai is a profitable supplier than mere consumer of power.

Pl implement express way with exit and entry similar to highways in other countries. It makes sense to collect toll in OMR roads with this concept ( No signals) as currently we are paying toll for no reason and it is congested and main signals, we end up waiting for more than 10 min due to heavy traffic. Also, in Chennai we have too many two wheelers and trucks, we should provide lanes to heavy vehicles and two wheelers to regulate the traffic. Please consider this.

Chennai City central area has space thankfully to its heritage. But city struggles with Water Scarcity 24X7. Water desalination plant water should be reaching all corners of the city. Every good locality comes with some violations on FSR and needs to be corrected for emergency evacuation. Storm water drainage system needs to be prioritised to prevent water logging. Sewerage system needs overhaul due to its limitations. MTC needs to learn to follow timetable. Mayors election by 2.5 years must.

From the camera output, the back office randomly identifies the vehicle numbers, that crosses, when signal is ‘Red’, using the cameras at road junctions.
Also randomly identifies the bus numbers, that are not stopping inside the bus-bays.
Sends penalty amount notice, to pay at RTO office.
Idea generates money, automatic process.
