what i suggest is that the arterial road be classified as fast corridor and slow corridor.fast corridor should have an exclusive lane for buses separated from other vehicle lanes.this optimizes transport by bus with hassle free traffic for buses.more people will prefer to travel by bus.now the common vehicles lane should have 4 lanes.all traffic junctions should be provides with large roundtanas where there is no waiting for signals.
