Currently cost of digital transaction is borne by citizen and cost of cash transaction is borne by Govt. / Banks. This creates illusion in public mind that digital transaction is costly. Let the cost of cash transaction be transferred to public for Rs 500 and above denomination notes. At 5 - 10 %, this will be a deterrent and prohibit unnecessary cash transaction of high denomination notes. Thank you.

Every where on petrol pumps a hording is kept stating 0.75% cash back, leave cash back I have been charged 2.5% surcharge on my credit card every time I filled petrol also demonetisation increased credit card transaction and I have been charged INR 572/- in a month for that bank says I have exceeded the allowed limit, if it is so then bank should have blocked the further transactions after consuming the limit but instead of which bank started charging me, WHY SHOULD I DO DIGITAL PAYMENTS THEN?

I think that Reserve Bank of India should create own payment gateway and all Bank payment and e-wallet pass through RBI payment gateway. This facility can provide the faith in cashless society in terms of cyber security.

I got the message from SBI that As per RBI directive more than 3 txns in metro & 5 in non-metro are chargeable... Is this demonetization? What to do "Aam Aadmi" Conman-men? Why these charge?

Aadhar linked digital transaction with finger prints and retina as security means is a great step. Go ahead Sir. Even voting in elections can be done in the same way. We can save lots of money spent on elections if we vote from home.

#NITIAayog State Public Transport Systems (Buses) is the focus point
1. Introduce SMART Card based fare collection.Bring in Daily/Weekly/Monthly electronic passes. It will save cost for paper as well while moving towards digital payment.
2.Option 1 has setup cost involved,if we want quick wins, enable UPI based/Card based payment of fares on public transport systems.
3.Introduce fare discount on payment via digital till it becomes a habit, maybe after a period of 9-10 months discounts can stop!

Wide use of Contactless DEBIT card payment at NO EXTRA COSTS. This can be done at railways counters, State Transport Volvo tickets, also at Retail outlet chains. This will do two things, reduced time window at checkout, reduced load on cashiers at counters. This will significantly reduce use of paper cash at places.
We can also put contact less thing in RUPAY Card. #DigitalPayments
