The National Council for Vocational Education and Training (NCVET) was notified by the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (MSDE) vide Notification No. D-17/113/2017-E&PW on 5th December 2018, to regulate the functioning of entities engaged in Vocational Education and Training.

In pursuance of the mandate of NCVET, the ‘Guidelines for Recognition and Regulation of Assessment Agencies’ have been formulated by laying the objective, foundation principles & approach, structure, proposed models of assessment for recognizing and regulation of Assessment agencies under NCVET.

The Guidelines is posted on the public domain- MyGov portal, to solicit comments/suggestions, if any, from the public/stakeholders and all are requested to convey their suggestions/comments on the Guidelines latest by 18.10.2020.

Assessing agencies have to assess certain criterions correctly without fear or favour.
Recognition:-
1. Must have necessary skills / knowledge
2. Must have necessary qualifications
3. Must be a body recognised by act
4. Must be located suitably
5. Must be Indian without Chinese partner
6. Must have requisite funding
7. Must prove proper EMIs paid if on loan
Regulation :-
1. Must follow appropriate rules
2. Must follow ethics for public good
3. Must not function with animosity or favour

Industry Participation in Assessment :
1.Motivation to Industry Under (CSR) Corporate Social Responsibility activity.
2.Motivation to industry for Assessment for practical with available infrastructure and resource

In guidelines section No.3./page 19 it is mentioned that AAs should have experience of 3 year and should have completed 100000 assessments. But in next para relaxation has been given in certain cases.Whether this relaxation will not compromise the quality of AAs ?

H'nbl PM.. I've attached one video about one 10th std.student Yogeswari form Tirupur, Tamilnadu who successfully invented a fuel for 2 wheelers by separating Hydrogen from salt water by Electrolysis method , won 3rd Prize in a State level Science Competition by proving v could get ecofriendly fuel which is enough to run the vehicle for 35-40km.from 1 litre of salt water.
There r so many young scientists who don't have proper Guides.I request u to select such youngsters, guide thru. local MSME

AAs will prepare the question papers to select or assess the candidates.To prepare the question paper the AA should be thorough in the geography of that area or of that particular skill.This may be looked in to while selecting AAs.

Considering the Assessing Bodies of DGT to NCVET. Rich experience and having certified assessors etc. Utilized their capacity to smooth running and best results. Efficient monitoring and reach in further heights.
