By increasing the rent for rooms available for stay especially a.c rooms. Increase rooms available at stations. Dormitory rooms with attached bathroom, toilet will be helpful for pilgrims travelling in groups, for their safe stay.
Mineral water bottles served in trains are either thrown in dustbins or on tracks or in rare cases passengers carry with them. Nobody crushes the bottles as suggested by railways. MY SUGGESTION - Each coach must have shredder (which should be installed by shredder manufacturers FREE and they can collect the shredded material for recycling. Railways can award contract for this. Unauthorized vendors & hawkers be given license. This will help man day's generation & maintain ecological balance.

The Railways owns thousands of kilometers of land alongside rail lines in space starved cities. Turn them into parks, walking/running space, orchard lines etc ( with enough protection) and charge for using. Beautification with profit!
open a paid wifi on the train that users are billed...open it out to telecom players to pay Railways to offer service...
a discount of fare for upper class should strictly be stopped.railway suffers huge losses by giving discount.so I think discount should be given only in sleeper classes. or may be third ac only.no discount given on 2nd ac or 1st class.it will save huge money for railway.
recently a news media shows that how a ticketless passenger is travelling in sleeper or ac coaches by giving money to cheacking staff.we all know that it is a great loss of railway revenue.so this area is strictly modified.system is too much polluted that no body can do any action.and its happening since begning.so this area should be modified first.
