railway has lots of land but no one is properly using it.if these land are used for making houses, shopping mall, market and sold to proper body so that a huge amount we get from this project.also in many railway colony there is a scarcity of market.there are so many illegal shop are seen.so by using this land we can create fund for railway.

we know that railway is expending huge amount of salary to guard.but I think these post should be replaced by assistant loco pilot.so that we get more advantages less salary, also a loco pilot can work both as a driver and a guard so in emergency we get dual benifit.

IR shall intervene to utilise the left fallow land beside railway stations as well as tracks. IR can utilise unused land plots near stations to build commercial buildings, etc that would generate income but yes would need some additional investments. Else the land beside the tracks could be used to lease for farm-land or to MNCs to grow more trees for which they can go for carbon trading.
IR can also utilise old abandoned quarters to develop new townships and affordable housing colonies

first we have to know that every time manipulation are done in indian railway.we know that railway has given lots of tender or contract to different private bodies.a huge amount is spend but wheather work is done or not no body know.so every work should be assist by lower level of railway staff.staff will clearify the work inspect the work also many time different type of tender is issued which is not necessary.so lower level of staff inspect the work then there will be transperency.

1. Use land of railways which will not access for next 2-4 years as cultive lands. Pulses,fruits,cocoa,termeric etc
2. Tightening the surveillance of ticket for travel.
3. Connect all famous goods,products from its place to all over India with reasonable cost by introducing new train for shoping.

Putting heavy Fine for those breaking rules on railway stations surrounding,station and inside train like fining everybody on a train coach, if chain is pulled unnecessarily will generate huge funds for railways.Second most important thing is immediately changing contract and availing Amount of bank guarantee by railways for example A railway contractor for electrification of Jalpaijuri area has obtained many crore contract from railway but not doing any work for many years,better to collectfine

I have suggested one thing to u plz make survey on indian railways with a view to ensure each and every trains monthly income in that particular route.So that we can know weather that train give us profit or the indian govt.'s expenditure is more.If it has been found that the expenditure is high to run that train in that particular route,so kindly take some action aboute it or to stop running that train in the route.so the indian railway can earn more.

On the very big railway stations, construct multi storey commercial complex like Vashi or Belapur in Navi Mumbai. Such a complex will generate a lot of rental revenue as it will have a very good connectivity.

Considering the installation of wifi routers & high-speed internet availability on railway stations. Railways can come up with their ad network where companies and come places their bid on the ads basis which ad property they want to advertise on. In terms of ROI Railways can sell on the basis of cost per impression.

Talking about the physical properties just like Delhi metro the waggons can be enveloped with brand skins which will generate revenue as well as create a need in market.

6.Micro wind turbines on each pole will generate substantial power due to train movement, specially on busiest routes. Also installing big wind turbines on captive land will bring in massive revenue.
7.Specially for goods trains,CNG Loco engines will save considerable diesel or electricity.
