National Statistical Office (NSO) under the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation (MoSPI) has released a Discussion Paper titled “Methodological Improvements in Compilation of National Accounts Aggregates Using Expenditure Approach”. This exercise is part of the preparation for the new series of National Accounts Statistics with FY 2022–23 as the base year, which is scheduled for release on 27 February 2026.

The Discussion Paper outlines the proposed methodological refinements and improvements in the compilation of National Accounts aggregates using the Expenditure Approach, with the objective of enhancing the quality, accuracy, and usability of national accounts data.

Comments and feedback on the Discussion Paper are invited from experts, academicians, government bodies, state governments, financial institutions, users of national accounts data, and other stakeholders. Suggestions may be shared at: ddg3.nad@mospi.gov.in by 7 January 2026.

Respected Sir, I would like to suggest a policy for classes 10 and 12: a “School Without Fear or Failure” system. Just imagine a school where every child is educated and grows into a good human being—where no student is declared as a failure. In this system, every student passes and receives marks according to their effort and hard work. The percentage may be 99%, 60%, or even 15%, but it is honest and fair. Students feel satisfied because they know their marks genuinely represent their effort, not fear or pressure. If a student is not satisfied with their performance and wishes to improve, they have the option to repeat the class by choice—not force or shame. Students already understand that certain percentages are required for admission to specific colleges, so there is clarity and transparency. Because of this clarity, fear is removed from education. Students begin to study for themselves—not just to pass exams. The entire academic year becomes full of learning, curiosity

यह चर्चा पत्र अच्छा है और राष्ट्रीय लेखा आंकड़ों को बेहतर बनाने में मदद करेगा। यदि आंकड़े कहां से लिए गए हैं और कैसे जोड़े गए हैं, इसे और सरल भाषा में बताया जाए तो छात्रों और आम लोगों के लिए समझना आसान होगा।
