Amritsar - ‘The Holy City of India’ has been selected among 3 cities for implementing Smart City project in Punjab and is gaining momentum to get shortlisted in the final round of Smart City Challenge where 20 cities would be selected in the first year.

The vibrant citizens of Amritsar are requested to post their views pertaining to municipal and city’s basic infrastructure such as water supply, electricity, sanitation, waste management, transport, parking, energy,housing, IT solutions,safety and security.

Residents are encouraged to give their ideas and suggestions at city level as well as local area level solutions in Amritsar.

Let us join hands together in making Amritsar a global Smart City!

My thought on smart city there should be greening in city and well management of sevraj so that all water of rain can darn easily . wastage of home and other should not be throw here and there. a campaign done over this topic can done all over the city. paramjit kaur pti teacher ghs quilla jiwan singh
