Smart City Jalandhar

आरंभ करने की तिथि :
Oct 08, 2015
अंतिम तिथि :
Nov 16, 2015
00:00 AM IST (GMT +5.30 Hrs)
The City of “Jalandhar”, prominent Sports & Light Engineering manufacturing goods Hub of Asia in the State of Punjab, has been selected as one of the Smart Cities under the ...
Yes, the roads crisscrossing JALANDHAR CITY must be of the
level of the Mall Road, Jalandhar Cantonment. There is no reason to doubt that the M.C.J. can do it. The roads should have green belt with foot-path on either side. We all be having a soothing sight and greener & cleaner environment all the time. BUT WE MUST COME TO UNDERSTAND THAT IT IS EASIER TO CONSTRUCT HIGH-END ROADS & PATHS BUT HARDER TO MAINTAIN THEM TO KEEP THEM AT THAT LEVEL ALL THE TIME. THE RESIDENTS HAVE A ROLE THERE.
The markets here should b looked upon.just c the conditn of main markets like attari bazar,so much rush Is there.the tehbazari vibhag shoul daily send its officers to main markets so that no shopkeeper Could place his objects outside his shop.for rickshaw pullers and the rehdas that carry items must be provided 1 way,so that frm 1 way they enter, and from the other they go.outside every house a tree or a plant must be planted.suitable parking must b made outside markets.
there should be proper walking and cycling lanes . the streetlights should be solar powered. maximize the use of non conventional energy resources. for various government/corporation facilities e-sampark Kendra should be setup and shift the work procedures online or mobile apps. the city should be made safe by smart policing installing latest technology on roads and govt buildings and establishing central control rooms. incubation centres and tourism should be the area to work
Its HARD to plant trees , and harder to maintain them, check out #TreePlantation and #Clean drives of #AISEC at https://www.facebook.com/environmentalsociety.org , We need you support to carry forward this noble cause , Please Don't ignore.
It is incumbent upon the citizens of the Smart City, and for that matter of any city, to cooperate with the Local Administration in every conceivable manner in the same way as it is incumbent upon the Local Administration to coordinate with the residents of the city regarding the development works and the pace of the same. THE CITIZENS OWE IT THEMSELVES PAY IN TIME WHATEVER IS DUE ON THEIR PART TO THE M.C.J. SO THAT IT FACES NO RESOURCES CRUNCH TO MEET ITS OBLIGATIONS.
Along with development of old cities into a smart city there is also the need of hours to develop and adopt a model code for development of new cities Pan India for continuous pace of Smart Development.
The concept of Smart City implies that its citizens enjoy the facilities that make their life enjoyable at affordable cost. The important ingredients shall surely include the happy and healthy surroundings in their Gullies & Mohallas which to a great extent need to be ensured by people themselves. HERE THE ROLE OF THE M.C.J. SHALL BE THAT OF A FACILITATOR. WHILE THE PEOPLE HAVE TO ENSURE NOT TO LITTER WASTE HITHER & THITHER M.C.J. MUST ARRANGE LIFTING OF WASTE REGULARLY FROM EVERY SINGLE CORNER.
A CITY BECOMES SMART WITH THE SMART CITIZENS. MAKE PEOPLE OF CITY SMART BY PROVIDING AFFORDABLE EDUCATION TO ALL. AWARE THEM OF THEIR RIGHTS AND DUTIES. FIGHTING OVER RELIGION LIKE FOOLS WILL NOT LEAD US TO ANYWHERE. GURUS, RISHIS DIDN'T TEACH US SO. VEHICULAR POLLUTION, LAND POLLUTION DUE TO WASTE LITTERING, GROUND WATER POLLUTION DUE TO INDUSTRIAL AND OTHER WASTE, AIR POLLUTION ETC. THIS IS WHAT WE ARE GOING TO PASS ON TO NEXT GENERATIONS? GIVE SLOGAN OF A GREEN, CLEAN, AFFORDABLE LIVABLE CITY
JALANDHAR CITY is already on the international map for its quality sports goods as also its light Engineering and Leather Industries. But it is also a fact that civic infrastructure in the City is far, far behind what it ought to have been. OTHERWISE, WHAT EXPLAINS, IN THE LONG LIST, THE STATE OF EKAEHARI PULI NEAR RAILWAY STATION ON THE OLD RAILWAY 🚄 ROAD. THIS VERY IMPORTANT RAILWAY UNDER BRIDGE (RUB) HAS BEEN IN A DILAPIDATED STATE FOR DECADES. PEOPLE AVOID ITS USE FOR OBVIOUS REASONS....
Smart City Project should address major problems including inter alia, traffic & pollution, road safety, improved pedestrian infra.,solid waste management including efficient road sweeping, public security, e-governance, employment generations, new investments, etc
