My vision for the Smart city project is enclosed.
One of the projects for sports lovers has been hanging fire for several years . For a good International cricket stadium we need atleast 25 acres of land. I had written to the MSEZ chief a few years back about prospect of land in MSEZ . I got a reply that they would look into this. With regards to transportation BRTS model should be implemented between Mangaluru and Surathkal.

3. Making government office digital - Birth Certificate/Death Certificate, Tax Payments, Trade License renewal and other government works should be paperless
4. Job hub for Mangaluru - Mangaluru is a education hub and lots of engineers from mangaluru go to other places for job. There is no much employment oppurtunities currently in Mangaluru. Average citizen age in Mangaluru is 45. With creation of more jobs here, we could stop young talents moving out of Mangaluru

My vision for Mangaluru

1. Importance to roads - As Mangaluru is education hub, still we see improper roads. Lot of potholes observed these days. Need a water resisting good roads
2. Proper drainage facilities - Mangaluru during rainy season filled with lots of water when rain pours due to poor drainage facilities. Request to have proper water management so that there wont be water filled across roads.

Smart city needs smart and healthy people. Construction of good footpath on one side of road and planting trees on other side may aid as an walkway for morning walk and evening stroll. Small parks or playground for young children in every area or ward may help them to enjoy their evening in true sense.
