'Karnal' is one of major city of Haryana. It is also known as a city of 'Daanveer Karna'. Selflessness is the foundation of the city. It is known all over the world for production of Rice, Wheat, and Milk and for agriculture research Institutions like NDRI, CSSRI, Wheat Research Directorate, National Bureau of Animal Genetics Resources, Sugarcane Breeding Institute, etc.

The city is growing at a great pace towards development and information sector making it an important magnet for the state of Haryana.

How do you see Karnal as a smart city in next 5 years?

plz stop The caste system sir ye kya baat hui ki SC,BC,ST,etc ke liye scholarship B ,marks ki B chhut OR fee B kam OR General ke liye kuch nhi Gen. ki fee B high , or No scholarship, marks b high chahiye. it's not fair GOD ne mind saab ko equal diya hai NA ki sc,bc ko kam OR gen. ko jyada SO plz stop this. kam se kam marks me to equality rakho.

#Karnal #S.I.M Unemployment is major problem for youth.So,people are moving to big metropolitancities like Gurgaon,Noirda,Banglore,Delhi ,Chandigarh and even to foreign for getting reputable job and handsome salary.So,there should be good source of income in city.Also sewage and drainage system must be improved bcoz in rainy season city condition becomes very poor.

सरकारी स्कूलों में प्राथमिक शिक्षा पर जोर देना चाहिए ! इसके लिए स्कूल , क्लस्टर ,खंड ,जिला व राज्य स्तर के अधिकारियों के बीच तालमेल होना बहुत ज़रूरी है जिस से राज्य स्तर के अधिकारी भी स्कूल से सीधा जुड़ सकें ! इसके लिए सूचना प्रद्योगिकी में एक्सपर्ट स्कूल इनफार्मेशन मेनेजर का साथ लिया जा सकता है ! शिक्षा विभाग द्वारा मैनेजमेंट इनफार्मेशन सिस्टम ऑनलाइन पोर्टल एक बहुत अच्छी शुरुआत है ! जिस से अध्यापकों को गैर शेक्षणिक कार्यों से मुक्ति दिलाई जा सकती है !
