नदियां भारत की जीवन रेखा हैं, यदि हम अपने जनसांख्यिकीय मानचित्र को देखें तो हमारे पास नदियों का काफी अच्छा नेटवर्क है। कुछ अपेक्षाकृत बड़ी नदियाँ और उनके अधीनस्थ भारत के लिए बेहद ही महत्वपूर्ण हैं। कृषि पर निर्भर राष्ट्र होने के कारण, नदियाँ सिंचाई में बहुत महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाती हैं और साथ ही नदी का प्रवाह भूमि को उपजाऊ भी बनाता है।

The National Project Management Unit, Atal Bhujal Yojana, Department of Water Resources, River Development & Ganga Rejuvenation, Ministry of Jal Shakti, Government of India had organized a Logo Design Contest for Atal Bhujal Yojana (Atal Jal) in the month of May-June, 2020 with theme on Community-led Ground Water Management.
