There are three less popular but spectacular and beautiful places one should definitely visit while his/her tour in Hyderabad. 1. Shiv temple which is just opposite to the oldest heritage of the city i.e Charminar. 2. The tallest flag of India of 301 ft.and the Buddha statue standing at necklace road. 3. Birla temple which is made on a rock which poses the city out in a grandeur.

Gerusoppa was the capital of Jain Kings from 1409 to 1610.Chennabhairadevi who was nicknamed as "Kaalumenasina Rani"(Pepper Queen) ruled this soil.This was known as Nagire Rajya,and is today known as Nagar Bastikeri.This place is known for Chaturmukha Basadi.Parshwanatha Basadi,Vardhamana Basadi and Jwalamalini temples are worth seeing one.It is situated at a distance of 34 kms from Honavar taluk of Uttar Kannada District.
