Recognizing the universal appeal of Yoga, owing to its demonstrated benefits towards immunity building and stress relief, the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) proclaimed 21st June as the International Day of Yoga (IDY) on 11th December 2014. Since 2015, this day has been observed all over the world in ever-growing numbers, with the objective of reminding people across the globe about the benefits of Yoga, and to build enduring public interest in Yoga by highlighting its importance and contributions to the public health.

The preparations for the 7th International Day of Yoga (IDY 2021) have already begun and the Ministry of AYUSH (MoA) is looking forward to active participation from the people. The event will be observed in compliance with the COVID-19 guidelines of the government, with a greater focus on digital activities. In these tough times, all are encouraged to “Be with Yoga, Be at Home”

With this backdrop, MoA invites all citizens to share their ideas on how people can plan to observe the 7th IDY at home with their friends and families while mobilizing the wider community to maintain the ethos of Yoga and ensure community wellbeing. These ideas can be further utilized by the Ministry in conduction different programs dedicated to building the enduring public interest in Yoga by highlighting its importance and contributions to public health

The last date for submission of ideas is 30th June 2021.

Dear beloved Bharat Prime Minister Sri Narendra Modi sir,belatedly said happy International yoga day Kindly implement yoga studies in our educational system, we need to add our ancestors ability history in our children education. Many our ancestors were very ability,for examples,Arjuna Karna, Veer Abimanyu, Sathrapathi Veer Shivaji,Vivenkanand, Chanakya many many brilliant ancestors history compulsory should be known to our beloved country Bharat youngsters. "yoga is a light, which once lit ,will never dim. The better your practice, the brighter the flame". yoga is an oldest Indian way of dealing with the fitness (physical ,mental )of human body. yoga has come from Sanskrit word 'yuj' which means to unite or to joint.people tend to think that yoga is a series of exercises which twisted body poses but it is not so. basically it helps the individual to connect with one's inner spirit. YOGA IS A UNION OF ATMA AND PARMATMA. IT IS STABILITY IN MIND 🧘‍

..."योग" का परचम लहराया है। 21जून "योग दिवस" पर योग के प्रति लोगों का उत्साह, जूनून, जोश साफ-साफ दिखा, जो इस वर्ष 2021 की थीम "योगा फॉर वेलनेस" को सही सावित किया। हम आपका (प्रधानमंत्री महोदय) धन्यवाद m Yoga App लांच करने के लिए भी करते हैं, साथ ही आपसे निवेदन करते हैं कि जगह-जगह पर योगा केंद्र महिला व पुरुषों के लिए अलग-अलग खोला जाय ताकि योगा करने की सही जानकारी प्राप्त हो। धन्यवाद।

5 हजार वर्षों से योग भारतीय संस्कृति का अभिन्न हिस्सा रहा है। योग का महत्व कोरोनकाल में पूरे विश्व के लिए वरदान सावित हुआ, क्योंकि कोरोना के कारण लोग तनाव, डिप्रेशन में काफी आ रहे थे। उनके स्वास्थ्य पर बुरा असर पड़ रहा था। COVID19 से बचने के लिए सकारात्मक रहना व इम्युनिटी बढाना दोनों ही बेहद जरूरी है। अतः योग के लिए माननीय प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेन्द्रमोदी जी हम आभार प्रकट करते हैं;जिन्होंने आह्वान कर पूरे विश्व का ध्यान "योग" की तरफ खींचा और 500 सालों के भारतीय संस्कृति का अभिन्न हिस्सा "योग".....2
